Moderate Thyroid Eye Disease Left Eye

I think I have the same problem. I had Graves’ disease and then I took the radioactive iodine which, was a huge mistake, So now I have hypothyroidism. I have swelling in both eyelids, however, my left eye is really protruding, although the swelling of my eyelids covers a little bit of the protrusion of the left eye. The swelling of my eyelids has been going on about 10 years now. I’m frustrated with doctors. I saw thyroid Eye specialist 10 years ago and he told me that my eyelids were swollen because I didn’t take good care of my skin. I could not believe that. I do take good care of my skin. I recently went to my eye Doctor Who wouldn’t even listen to me when I tried to talk to him about this problem. Now my left eye is pushing my orbital bone out further and I’m feeling pressure and pain. I feel for you too. I hope both of us can someday find a solution. I consider myself to also look disfigured.
