I get the odd swinge in my MR plus swelling still lurking around! So pleased though! Mr Marcellio was extremely happy with results and he said full results will show on next appointment in April or may next year! X

Yes five days to go!!! Any advice?

I have lost 7lb more pounds since I saw Mr Marcellino 2 weeks ago. Feeling pretty rough from the lack of carbs. Urrrgggh.

Well done you! I'm on the diet now.
Only advise I would say is, don't try to rush things. You will feel frustrated with yourself but remember most things take core effort so a simple task will now be impossible for a while!!
I slept in the recliner until 2wpo as my bed was too uncomfortable, but you may be different.
Mya hospital is lovely, the staff are so friendly, please don't worry because everything will be fine!!
Only last thing... Get them to remove drains when you have pain meds in you. I didn't and regretted it.

Sorry to but in but when having drains out ask them to take the pressure off altogether leave for 15 min then take the drains out I can guarantee you won't feel a thing the trick is to release the pressure and wiat till it's all got change to go.

Ukvirgo81 how is it being back at work? Is your job very physical?

Oh I wished my nurse knew to do that with the drains. It bloody hurt :(
Work is fine, I manage a store. It's a case of walking a fair bit but I have the option to sit when needed. The only issue is swelling. Apart from that I'm doing good! X

Think you will find you will swell more now but don't worry it's normal. I have just worked out I am 16 week in and still swell and I don't work. Just hang in there it takes time about 7 months I have been told before it improves a lot but still swells

I really am!! Hope this gives you peace of mind :) he's a great surgeon and I was looked after very well at Fitzroy. Can't wait for the swelling to go down, final results are going to be awesome!!

Quick update... I'm alone for first time today and struggling a little. Wished id asked hubby to take two weeks off instead of one :( just a thought for yourself xx

We were called Kaution. We never released anything so you won't have heard of us haha. It was a great experience but it definitely gave me a complex!!

Oh dear sorry to hear you are struggling. I have help for the first two weeks so hoping I'll be ok. I keep telling myself that it has to be easier than when I had a c-section and I was left to look after a newborn with no help!! I hope things get better soon xx

Ah OK, no I've not heard of them. But that's so cool!
Two weeks should be enough. I have friends and my mum periodically popping in through the day and my girls get back from school around 3pm so not all bad. Just having an emotional few days, I can compare it to the baby blues.. Getting very tearful but for no particular reason, if anything I know eventually I'll be so pleased.
Not sure about comparison to c section as never had one but I heard this is slightly longer healing because of the MR they do inside.

My swelling is so bad at the moment, the picture posted above was 4dpo, I'm now 9dpo and feel like I'm twice the size!! Got to keep it in my head that it will go... Eventually! I'll post updates :)
