Does anyone know anything about Simon watts -??

I am getting pre op anxiety and fear !? Is this normal before a nose job !? How can I make sure I picked the right surgeon. There are so many ! Please help xx

If you don't know 100% that you have picked the right surgeon then i would say that you need to keep doing some research. Remember that this is not only expensive, it's also permanent. I had my nose done on the 7th with Mr John Davison and get my cast off on Wednesday. Knew I wanted him as I'd seen him before.
Was this in the UK? When I first met Simon I thought I wanted him. I'm just worried because I haven't seen him for a second visit yet and want to ensure were on the same page :/ he's a lovely man with good credentials and good work that I have seen. I just haven't seen many reviews.
Yeah mine was in the UK, in Canterbury and my consultation was free. I would say, write down all your questions in a notepad so you don't forget, go to the second consultation and see how you are feeling after that. If you're still unsure, go with someone else.
I don't recommend to merely rely on the internet and research about the surgeon. It does help of course, but one needs to look at other options that would convince you. My huge mistake was choosing my London rhinoplasty surgeon through research online. Almost every website and forum, including this one, was praising his expertise in noses and how successful he is. I decided to go with the surgery. Later, I found out that most of them were fake reviews. I am now left with a botched nose, not to mention the severe depression that is affecting me.
My advice is to look at before and after photos at HIS office in HIS computer, and what's even more important is, if possible, MEETING people in real life who've had a rhinoplasty with the surgeon, and then you could judge by yourself.
Good point. I am sorry you haven't had a successful journey, it's my biggest fear ! I met with Simon and saw his work which was great. And he doesn't have lots of reviews on here so I thought maybe he isn't as well advertised ? The receptionist at a hospital he works at sometimes praised him but other than liking him and his before and after photos. That's all I have done? I'm scared !
Would you mind sharing the name of the doctor who did the rhinoplasty you weren't happy with?
Hope I am not out of line here, sorry if I am, but...Please reconsider! Your nose is absolutely normal and looks great....and you are gorgeous! Be proud and strong! Chances are huge that you will not even see a lot of difference after surgery. But will have lots of swelling for months. Worst case, you may totally hate it or have breathing issues afterwards... And once it is done there is no going back. I have read so many reviews about unhappy "after" nose jobs. This is a lot of money and revisions will cost a ton more! You are young and beautiful and should think very hard if you are just obsessing over it because of lack of something else in life or social media pics...which are mostly all photo app'ed to death anyway. My apologies if I'm out of line and this goes against RealSelf policy, but I just had to speak out. Think hard about this and I wish you good luck however you decide.

I have a big dorsal hump and a slight deviation on the left side. I also have a round large tip. It is very scary stuff but I know I want this. If my nose looked how it did in the edit I would not be getting it done. I took my before photo down because it's so horrible lol! Have you had yours done before ?? X
The "go to guy" for noses is Mr Basim Matti. He is truly gifted. He saved my nose which had been ruined by previous surgeons. I am over the moon with what he did for me. He gave me the nose I 'should' have been born with.

However, he will not nake you look like Scarlett Johanson (to whom you refer above) - no reputable surgeon will ever tell you that they can do this!

If you have a good gut feeling that is sooo important. If the before and after pics are impressive, I believe you will be very happy. I am 68 years young and going in for my second face lift and/or fillers. Am I anxious??? You bet. I have been to four consuls, fortunately they were all free. I have confidence with all four, but connected with doctor # 2 more than the others. You will look wonderful. I think being anxious is part of this. Go for it!!! Keep me posted and I will do the same.

Pre op.

Ok so I made a boo boo by booking my surgery a few days after returning home from a trip travelling over seas where I will be staying a couple months back packing. I totally forgot that I would need pre op checks done so I have only 3/4 days between getting back and my surgery. Will this be An issue ?? Does anybody know ? Or is rhinoplasty pre op not massively important ? I'm young and believe I am quite healthy !? I will be in countries exposed to malaria etc however I will be taking all the necessary precautions and vaccinations ? Will I still be able to get this surgery? Any feedback would be much obliged x

Simon watts

I have decided to go with Simon watts. Scheduled for May due to plans leading up until then, no time to get it done! So excited. Going to book another consultation too. His work was great , he made me feel comfortable and was such a lovely man in general.
