Hi guys.

Just want some opinions and feedback.

Full story below. Short version at the end.

First off, let me start by saying that I have gotten microblading done a total of 4 times prior to this mishap. So I'm well aware of the semi-permenant makeup process, how it heals and what it should look like.

However, because of my skin type/sparse hair I've noticed that microblading doesn't wear well on my skin for two reasons. (1) Since I barely have any hair (and the few that I do are coarse and thick), it looks a bit animated (no matter how natural the hair strokes are). (2) Overtime the lines start to blur due to my very oily and also flaky skin. Overall compared to many of my friends that have gotten the same procedure, microblading doesn't wear very well on me. However, I still loved having some sort of brow!

Anyways, since many people I knew had gotten semi-permanent powder brows I decided to opt for them instead of my usual microblading. Since the woman that normally does my microblading is no longer available (she became super popular and moved to a different city to pursue more options) I did some extensive research on local technicians that offer the powder brow method. I ended up settling on a girl who had an extensive portfolio, worked on many of my friends and was even suggested by my old technician.

A few things went wrong.

We decided on the shape together and she drew it on prior. Since I'm Asian, a traditional arched brow doesn't suit me as well. So I opted for a straighter Korean style brow, similar to my faded previous brow. But when I looked in the mirror after the procedure, the brows were very different from what was drawn on. They were more arched with a longer tail at the end and one was thicker. It was very different from the style we had decided on together so I wasn't sure what happened. However, knowing that a lot of the color would fade and that it could probably be fixed at the touch up I wasn't too bothered. I guess I was a bit overwhelmed by the different shape that I didn't notice the other problems.

When I got home and took a closer look, I was somewhat mortified to realize that I had two very different brows. One brow was closer to what I hoped for. A bit longer and more arched than I wanted but it was manageable. The other was thinner, longer and the worst part was that it was sitting lower. I realized that I didn't notice this initially because some of the color run off dyed my surrounding skin a bit so while I was at the salon it wasn't as obvious.

I'm not too concerned about the difference in thickness because I know that can easily be corrected at the touch up. What I'm worried about is the fact that one brow is sitting lower. To match my brows, it's likely that my technician would have to bring my other brow down more which means a thicker and more arched brow. Something I don't want.

I contacted my technician right away and to let her know my concerns. While she seems to agree that there is a difference in thickness, she can't seem to see that one is lower than the other. She told me to wait until the touch up to have the matter dealt with.

What are my options and what do you guys think? Do I go for a much thicker and more arched brow then I ever wanted? Should I consult saline/laser removal? If I opt for removal, how soon can I start the process?

By the way. I'm 3 days in so the tattoos are fresh which is why they're so dark. The color will fade significantly. Also, since they're powder brows they're filled in fully (the finished looks is meant to resemble makeup instead of hairstrokes).

Long story short - I've gotten microblading done many times before but decided to try semi-permanent powder brows this time. The shape turned out different from what was drawn on before the procedure. My brows are two different shapes. One is thinner, longer and sitting lower than the other. I don't want super thick/arched brows. What do I do?

PS. In the pictures, it's hard to see the differences but it's quite obvious in person. If you guys need more let me know.
