Decent to unattractive nose after primary rhinoplasty - scared but collaborating

ORIGINAL POST

(Pics included) Decent nose to an unattractive nose, following primary rhinoplasty. Scared but collaborating to fix it.

Summary: I'm about 7 months post op from primary rhinoplasty with Dr.Asaria - my case was described as 'minor and easy'. However, my nose is more crooked than before, nostrils are unattractive from most angles and the bridge is bumpy. Dr. Asaria acknowledged the issues with my nose post-op and we will have a follow up meeting to discuss the plan forward.
The pictures are from about 6 months post op, following an injection to reduce swelling. I'll continue to update on this journey.
Context: Before surgery, my nose was mostly straight looking forward (slightly slanted), minor hump - I wanted to reduce the downward look of the tip. I VERY briefly explained what I wanted (remove minor bridge hump, remove downward tip when I smile and less prominent nostrils). Dr.Asaria assured me my concerns were very minor and it would be simple procedure - he said I had a good foundation and medium-thick skin. Surgery and post-care went by without a hiccup. They were even able to book me in earlier.
Cast removal - 5 months: Right after cast removal, I noticed a bump on the left side of the bridge and it was hard. In the post-op appointment, they said it could be swelling and to keep an eye on it. The bump progressively got more visible as the months went on. On top of that, as the swelling reduced, I noticed that there seemed to be a clear line on the left side of my nose which exaggerated the curve on my nose. My right bottom bridge was still swollen. The tip was swollen (as expected) and I didn't have the issue of the downward tip anymore.
Revisit: At around the end of the 6 month point, I was very concerned with my crooked nose and realized that it is probably not 'just swelling'. I called the clinic, let them know my concern and they quickly scheduled me in for an appointment. When Dr.Asaria met with me, he acknowledged that my nose was more crooked now than before the surgery and confirmed that it wasn't due to swelling. I was near tears. He injected the right side with a solution to help the swelling go down. He said there is a chance I may need a revision and offered to use fillers to reduce the prominence of the crooked nose. I refused the fillers because I wanted to see what my nose looked like truly after the swelling was gone.
After swelling: To my absolute horror, there is another hard bump on the bottom right side of my nose that is extremely visible (this is following that injection). Now that swelling is mostly gone, I feel comfortable saying that my nose bridge looks wider than before and seriously deviated. I acknowledge I'm probably the harshest critic but I've attached all pictures to let you be the judge.
Currently (7 months): I'm in conversations with the team regarding a revision rhinoplasty. I am sceptical as the nurse again said it'll be a minor 1hour fix - it concerns me as this is the same sentiment as before. This time, I want to be fully briefed about what the plan is and explain exactly what it is that I want. Unfortunately, it looks like surgeries are booking into the new year - however this was the case with the primary surgery and they were able to fit me in earlier.
Final thoughts: I will update this post until the end of my journey. I tried to be a impartial as possible and simply share my experience/thoughts; I know Dr.Asaria has been very successful for others - unfortunately that hasn't been my experience with the surgery. However, I do appreciate the responsiveness of the staff, and Dr.Asaria's willingness to fix the issue. I've spoken to other experts since the last visit and they let me know that revisions are quite common - I wish I knew this before. I also wish I had described in more detail what I wanted, rather than assuming he would automatically make the best decision at the surgery table. I hope this sheds more light for those of you who are considering rhinoplasty.
Hopefully this story has a happy ending - I'll keep you posted.
