2 weeks after final session
I didn't feel like my stomach was getting any flatter till I took this picture today. I think it's still shrinking (yay!). I still have another Groupon for another 6 sessions at a different location. So I'll continue to update during that.
4 days after 5th session
So I had my final session on Thursday (today is Monday) and I'm noticing each day my stomach does seem flatter. I changed from not sure to worth it, because I think it was worth it for what I paid for it. The Groupon was $166 for 6 sessions (one of which ended up being the consult, so really 5 sessions). I don't think I would've paid $100 per session for the results I got, but that's just me. I've heard that it can take a few months to see final results, so I'll update if I notice more changes. Overall, I suggest giving Ultrasonic Cavitation a try IF you can find a good deal for it in your area. If you're looking for significant fat loss, it may not be for you. I was already working out 45min/day, 5days/week. I believe getting that exercise and drinking TONS of water is key to metabolizing the fat cells after treatments. I actually have another Groupon for the same thing at a different location. So I'll go for that soon and hopefully get even more significant results.
Very Pleasant and Relaxing
I got a Groupon for 6 sessions of Ultrasonic Cavitation for $166, I couldn't pass it up. My first appt was a consultation (I think she counted that as one session, but even still, what I paid was so little compared to what it usually costs). I went to B & Beauty in Ashland, MA. She wasn't in the options for providers, I think maybe because she's not a doctor, just an esthetician? Anyway, she was super sweet. I'd definitely refer others to her.
As for the treatment itself (I'm not sure if other providers do this as well or not), she started with a lymphatic drainage treatment. I got wrapped up like a burrito with these things that were basically like blood pressure cuffs. One on each leg, feet, arms, and stomach. They inflated and deflated in a sort of wave motion. It was warm and relaxing at first, but by the end my hands hurt from either lack of, or too much, circulation lol. Not sure which. And I had to pee so bad because she told me to drink 2 liters of water before, and 2 liters after the treatment.
After that, I got unwrapped and she started the cavitation. This part was interesting. She took the ultrasound thing and swiped it over my stomach a number of times. Each time I got this weird, high pitched, electricity sound in my ears. I don't know how exactly to explain it. Almost like a crackling squeak lol.
After that, she had me stand on this machine that pretty much just shook me for 10 minutes. It said it was supposed to help strengthen your core, help posture, and some other stuff. It was awkward, but whatever, if it helps, then great.
I didn't really notice a difference till i compared my pictures, and my stomach actually does look slightly flatter (yippy!). I'm heading back for my second session today. I'll wait and post another update next week.
