My Ultra Therapy Damage (Ruined my Face)

kima1990
Hello
I'm 27 years old and when I was 24 I did ultratherapy for a tighter jawline.
Now I'm living a nightmare. My nerves under my skin are damaged. Al my facefat is moving aroung in my face and is going to my jawline. Because of that weight I'm getting verry deep maionette lines and little stretch marks over my face. This treatment ruined my face. I look nothing like I used to and I'm in pain EVERY day! I don't know what could help and stop de proces because my face is getting wors with everyday.
Please never do the ultra therapy!!! There are comming more and more complains about people who have serious problems with their face after this treatment. If you type Ultratherapy damage on google. Google wil gives you the anwsers themself without a site. It's a dangerous treatment and can messup your face..

I'm so sorry :-(
November 21, 2019
Sorry but without a before picture at the same body weight, it is really hard to see any 'damage'. The changes you are describing are regular aging and I doubt Ulthera is capable of making the fat slide down. It is capable of melting some fat.

No one would make this up ,do more research, plenty of class action lawsuits to prove otherwise

if you dont see - change your glasses
November 21, 2019
are you serious? I clearly see the stretch marks
November 21, 2019
I don't see any 'stretch marks'. Without a before pic, I don't know what the marionette lines looked like before. The pic showing 'fat sliding down' is done at very unusual lighting and again there is no before pic at the same lighting.

What place in their right mind would give an ultherapy treatment to a 24 year old?
I do believe these high-energy devices cause untold damage to all the scaffolding in the skin. If she says she's experiencing these changes and damage I believe her because I'm sure she knows her own face and what it was like before.

I agree with you. Poor kid

Update few weeks later

kima1990
Ipdate few weeks later and my skin is even looser and more scared. Dont know what to do or how to stop this proces. Ik in oain eveyday and my skin is worser literarily everyday. It’s like my face fat is moving towards my jawline and my cheeks can’t keep up. And it is tearing my skin apart causing marionette lines and other scars

Hi there sorry to hear that. Have you told your doctor?
February 11, 2020
Yes but they dont understand me and dont want To help
February 11, 2020
Your face fat isn’t moving ,it’s as if your face is becoming longer and appears to hang because the ultherapy killed fat cells, sadly it’s not approved for the face and it is progressive as it creates a programmed cell death,it’s sad all the settlements and it’s still harming women of all ages.im sorry I understand the same thing happened to me , I had one fat graft and will need another with s lift to fix
February 21, 2020
Ultherapy doesn’t “kill”fat cells. It tightens the fat.
What doctor/treatment center did you go to and how long ago? How many depths did they treat?
February 21, 2020
Omg, there are so many doctors note that acknowledge at deeper depths Ultherapy kills fat cells. There are countless DOCUMENTED cases of this being true. You really need to get with the current program.
March 29, 2020
Ultherapy kills the fat cells. DO NOT NEVER ANYONE TRY THIS PROCEDURE. I see so many women exactly the same damage. Some peoples face and bone also melted. The lady i know from ultherapy she lost all her nerves around eyes and gum area. Now she cant talk. She need whole face reconstructive surgery. Do not brain wash people

There are clinical studies that show fat loss can happen. Sadly.
November 19, 2020
doctor themselves say that they may melt the fat who are you to say it doesn't are you better than a doctor?
February 21, 2020
The science and law suites say differently and heat does kill fat cells liposonix is same as ultherapy.Google all the class action settlements,no one has time to make this up and many doctors speak out ,it’s not fda approved for the face and not cleared for entire face ,but they train and cell it with all the grid marks .I always get these comments from “one time “ people on here .I know the truth and I’m pretty sure you do also .Say what you want I won’t comment back.No matter who performs it it’s dangerous. It wasn’t approved for colon cancer till recently, but it’s safe for face, sad how many women harmed.
March 11, 2020
I still don't see the damage. You have very striking looks. The process you describe - "fat travels down etc" - seems to be a normal maturing ("aging") process that happens regardless of you having Ultherapy earlier or not.
March 14, 2020
I know it’s a healthy again thing. But this is happening within a few weeks/months and that is not normal I think. And I can feel my skin be ripped apart from the inside and now slowly it’s coming out on the outside
March 14, 2020
Dear kima1990, even if there was any damage done to you by the procedure, you are still very young and the damage should have been repaired at this point. Your body still produces a lot of collagen. I honestly do not see any speedy deterioration of your looks that you are describing. The naso-labial folds start to appear around this age, it's pretty normal.
November 19, 2020
wear your glasses are you blind? im 3 years older than her and i look 10 years younger, she is 27 with face of 40 years old are you some weirdo defending your procedure to damage people
November 20, 2020
I agree, people need to put their glasses on.
UPDATED FROM kima1990

Update damage ultra therapy

kima1990
Few weeks later is and its really bad! IT feels like my skin is melting and it won’t stop! I can actually feel the fat moving under my skin and everything beneath is hollow now. I’m sad and don’t know what to do to stop this process. I wil look like a very old lady within a year. It’s happening so fast I’m so sad. Everyday I take photos and everyday it looks worse. I’m hopeless and in pain everyday from the heat that can’t escape my skin. When I talk and laugh you can see my mouth is hanging one side.

A message to RealSelf - I cannot see any text in this comment because the pictures take over the whole space. I am using Google Chrome browser. Please, fix it.
March 15, 2020
I see the asymmetry developing around your mouth! Thank you for continuing to share.
March 15, 2020
@tuffy4U, It's not necessarily because of Ultherapy. I had no Ultherapy in my 20s but my facial asymmetry increased during that time. It's a normal aging process.
March 15, 2020
Hi, I was speaking to Kima (the poster above :). But, I'm sorry that happened to you all the same.
March 16, 2020
Hello yes this few weeks my mouth is really started to hang. I feel so powerles beacuse there is nothing i can do about it
March 20, 2020
I didn’t know about this
November 19, 2020
maybe your horizontal folds on your neck was because of it
March 20, 2020
I can see those issues. Your provider should refund you
