Soooooo Painful

So I can officially say this is NOT WORTH IT!!! Between the amount of money paid and the excruciating pain, I would've expected some decent results. I feel like my jawline is slightly more defined, but you can't even tell in the pictures. I hope this review helps someone in their decision of whether or not to have this done. I strongly advise against it. I'd recommend looking into other procedures. If this were a couple hundred bucks and completely painless, then ya, I'd probably say worth it for the minimal results I got. But not for thousands of dollars and the worst pain of my life.

i agree! i didn’t think the pain was excessive but it’s not worth it. i’m 4 months out and have seen zero results.
Im sorry you suffered so much pain and feel you did not see results. I had mine done in Plastic Surg office. I took a painkiller and had lidocaine applied prior. I felt nothing until they were finishing the second pass of my neck and it was just in one spot. I already see results..my neck is tighter and my cheekbones r lifted and full and im 48. The machine measures ur collagen and they told me i had alot so maybe thats why im getting good results. But they did tell me full results wont be seen until 6 mths.
But i just looked at ur before pics and after and there is def tightening esp on ur neck. I dont kno if that means much to you but i think you look great either way.
Thank you! I appreciate it. That's fantastic you got good results!! I honestly do see and feel a difference in my jawline, and my "extend-a-chin" is gone. I just feel that the results I did get weren't worth the pain and/or cost. If it were painless and half the cost, then I'd say it's worth it. Hope you continue to have great results!
I had it done and the results 4,6 one year later resulted in a total waste of $2400 sadly. Along the jawline was extremely painful and I therefore unequivocally do not Reccommened ulterepy . That is the real ultherepy that christy Brinkley is the spokes person for. Who probably really had a face lift.
Christie Brinkley for a fact- had a facelift.
Did you do whole face ( cheeks) or only jawline and neck?
Love, for how long did the pain last? X

A little late

I'm a little late for my 2 month update, but here it goes. I feel like my jaw is getting more defined, but nothing super spectacular, and I feel like it's not even noticeable in the pictures. I'm uploading a picture of my neck. I have lines on my neck that feel like a sunburn, and have been there since I had the procedure done. When I went in a month ago, I was told to use aloe on my neck, and it sometimes takes a long time to heal. Well I honestly feel like it's not healing. It's freaking me out. I really hope this doesn't cause permanent lines. Has anyone else experienced this?

Sorry to hear your procedure was so painful. Thanks for the update. ❤️
Ultherapy is the biggest waste of money I have seen. It did nothing for me and I'm thankful b.c. most people got damaged in the process. Hope your problem goes away. That line is nothing to worry about either. Maybe some prescription strenth retinol;.

One month update

Swelling is gone. A teeny tiny part of my jaw on my left side feels very very slightly bruised still, but hardly noticeable. I actually feel like my jawline is getting more defined! For some reason I don't think it looks much different in the pictures tho. At least not from the side... I'll admit, I cheated on these pictures, I used a skin tone evening filter. That's why my skin looks great. Has nothing to do with Ultherapy lol. Overall I'm feeling pretty good about the results so far, but still not willing to say it's worth it. I'll update in another 2 weeks, unless I see significant progress before that.

I didn't show a difference for a few months. That's when all my fat disappeared and my face was ruined. I hope that's not the case for you. Definitely wait and don't do it again until you reach at least 18 month mark. I'm still hoping that I don't lose any more fat. Good luck!
Thank you. I'm so sorry it was such a terrible experience for you. I've heard that from a number of people now. If I had done more in-depth research, I wouldn't have had it done. I'm definitely not having it done ever again, solely because of the pain factor. I really hope things turn out ok.
Andreaz810 you will be okay no matter what but definitely never do it again. Hoping for the best for you!
@andreaz810 keep me posted.
Thanks for checking in! So far so good. I'm soooo thankful I'm not having any adverse affects. I really think I dodged a bullet. As far as results, I'm not noticing any huge changes. I think my jawline might be slightly tighter, but I'll post another update at the 2 month mark.
Sounds good @andreaz810. My damage started hard at month 4. Hoping you just have a good result!
Oh no . I’m sorry. I wish you good luck.
I did Full Face Ultherapy when I was 41 years old. Mainly to target my Jowls.
You will feel your skin is tighter especially so when you cleanse and wash your face - reduced laxity. Results are not dramatic and /or dynamic. It's quite subtle.
Hence, I did not continue with Ulthera since it's not worth the money paying for subtle results.
Subsequent years, I did HIFU at lower cost.
What is HIFU?
