Thoughtful, Responsive, Perfect for First Time Procedure (Mixto C02 and Ultherapy)
WORTH IT
I turned 50! My face fell down. My neck got squishy and wrinkled. My pale skin got converted with brown spots. I did 5 consultations with plastic surgeons and dermatologists - some free and some paid. Dr. Rahimi at Forever Young met with me virtually and took his time to answer all of my questions (even though it was a free consult, it was the most thorough one). He recognized that my skin was sensitive just from my pics. He recommended ulttherapy and mixto laser on my neck and face. This was my first time doing anything and so I was nervous that my skin would get damaged or there would be some major problem. He made me feel incredibly comfortable and he is highly communicative by text and will jump on a FaceTime. The procedure was incredibly painful and I was grateful that he was able to increase the anesthetic until I did not feel anything (I was awake the whole time). For this reason alone, I would not do these procedures outside of a doctor's office where they can give anesthetic. The pros are that my neck improved dramatically, the brown spots lessened a lot, and wrinkles reduced. The only con is that I oddly developed new lines at the sides of my mouth. They're not a huge deal - they're pretty small - and it was overall still 100% worth it, but I obviously would have preferred not to have that. The other thing, and it's a pro and a con is that, even though I put aside 5 in-my-house days for healing, and I expected bloody skin and all that, I didn't get such dramatic sloughing. My skin just bright red like a sunburn for a few days. I also didn't get quite as dramatic of results as I dreamed of. But, considering I was scared of so many things going wrong, I appreciate that Dr. Rahimi was maybe on the conservative side and prioritized my safety, comfort, and ensuring my skin would heal beautifully and look better. I want to be clear that I recommend him wholeheartedly. I am ready for another procedure, and I will consult with him again, but also consult with others again too in case someone else is a better fit for what my skin needs next (I'm now noticing how droopy it is and I'm thinking about under my eyes). But if he can offer whatever my skin needs next, I would return to him without hesitation. And for any first-timer, especially with delicate skin, or a better-safe-than-sorry attitude, I cannot imagine better hands than Dr. Rahimi's. I hope this is helpful!
