It Isn't Pleasant, but It Works

Well, I have tried Thermage and Morpheus 8 and I was totally a badass, and then I tried Ultherapy and I have to break up the appointment into 2 parts. It wasn't "pain" so much as it felt really, really "weird" -- it felt like you are getting zapped under your skin and sometimes the nerves get zinged.
After the first one I felt one of the nerve on my forehead just got "zapped" and then I lost sensation in some areas, and for 4 weeks after that when I touch a spot on my forehead I feel it in the back of my head. I was assured that it will go away in 2 months and it did. But damn I was terrified. (Lessons learned, don't do it on the forehead.)
HOWEVER, 2 months I was distracted by that nerve event I totally forgot to keep an eye on the improvements. It was another technician (at another place who did my laser hair removal) who noticed it. She said I looked tighter around the jawline. Now, I have to preface that I do not have a lot of sagging to begin with despite being 50-ish. but there were some skin laxity under my chin and jaw that bothered me. [And no, I did not get tighter because I lose weight, in fact, I GAINED weight - which was something I planned to do.) It's not dramatic change like you would get with surgery of course, but it was noticeable.
What can I say, the treatment DID WORK despite being very weirdly unpleasant. I would probably stick with cheeks/lower face and jaws next time.

Thanks for sharing your experience. The issues with your forehead nerve sound really scary. Are you feeling back to normal in that area? Glad you managed to get some noticeable results after all the discomfort.
