I’m very concerned that this going to cause permanent scarring

I did plenty of research before I chose to move forward with Ultherapy and Ideal Image. At no point was it ever discussed with me that blistering, visible lines and deformities in the skin could or would be outcomes of the procedure. During the procedure on my chest it was extremely painful, and felt as if I was being burned. I contacted the office due to blistering and marks that started appearing later that same day and are are still present now 2 days later l. They informed me at first that those side effects were “completely normal” but then shortly later asked me to send pictures. They indicated that I “had an adverse reaction” to the treatment and that my skin must be really sensitive but assured me the blisters weren’t caused by burns nor are they permanent and will go away in 2 weeks and to follow up then. I’ve asked their medical director to contact me but have yet to hear from him, I even emailed him directly. I don’t understand why I would have blisters on my chest if it weren’t from being burned. They told me that they never change the heat from patient to patient or area to area, it’s all kept the same. But the skin on your chest is extremely thin and probably shouldn’t have the same level of heat as other areas on neck or face that have thicker skin. I’m very concerned that this going to cause permanent scarring and can’t stop crying and worrying that I’ve destroyed by skin by allowing them to perform this procedure on me. I’m so disappointed and will make an appt with my primary doctor within in the next couple of days for a second opinion.

Sorry to see that Ultherapy damaged you also. It's been a nightmare. Hopefully it will not get worse.

I had Ultherapy on my neck with the 1.5mm transducer (very close to the surface of the skin) I was told that my skin would have some visible "bumps/scratches" but that they would resolve in 1-2 weeks and they did! Just be patient they will go completely away on their own. Now 6 months later all I'm left with is a lovely neck. Best of luck!

It’s been almost 3 weeks and they haven’t gone away. They prescribed me a steroid cream and told me at this point to see a dermatologist. No one ever told me there would be the possibility of visible lines or welts. I’m so disappointed.

I'm glad you had a good experience, but some people get scars that hey have to live with for the rest of their lives. Being patient doesn't heal everything.

What Doctor did you go? You said they went 1.5 mm. that could be the right transducer since the purpose is to target the Collagen not the fat as they did on me. I think was intentional, so they can have me back for more treatments. Good business.! I went to Dr. Michael Straitmann. And the name of the envious that did that to me is Carol.

For what it's worth, I believe you can file a complaint with the BBB and the State Attorney General.

Complain to the Health Service Commissioner as practice medico has not contacted you.

Thank you, I've been trying that but it's not easy. They have steps, only recorders, nobody call you back.
I don't know how to do it.
