Ultherapy Burns. Ultherapy Burned my Face!
Horrible burns! Machine was on high setting. This is my second treatment at another location. I had a perfectly normal reaction the first time. Please be aware that all lasers can burn you.
If you do get burned, I “hear” ice is not recommended as it decreases the amount of blood flow in the area. The best method from what I’ve read, is to run the burn under cold water for 5-20 mins., then apply yellow mustard... Google it :)
I also used turmeric for inflammation and 20% zinc oxide & Manuka honey for healing.
I’m not authorized to give advise, just stating what I’d do.

I did it on the 18thas well.... Please visit a dermatologist!!!
OMG!!
What has the Dr said to you about this?!
Not much! She said she hasn’t seen that kind of reaction to Ulthera, but those types of laser burns usually heal with time... ?
She also said she had some cream she could sell me in case I hyperpigment.

Creams she could sell you?? I’m pretty sure those should be on the house at this point.
Agree
Did you end up getting burn scars!? I'm so curious what the gold stuff is to keep the mask from drying on your face?
The burns are healing. They’re a little inflamed so I’m still in the danger zone of hyperpigmenting, but I don’t think I’ll scar as I’ve been taking good care of them. It’s the pits that scar me ;(. I have a bad feeling they won’t heal as they’re so deep.
The gold film is a Publix grocery bag :).

Wow, you are really proactive in taking your healing care into your own hands, in a timely way. Good for you! That's the fastest time I've ever seen burns heal. Will you please outline the mask combination mixture that you used?
Also, please keep us posted with new developments. The good news is the pits look pretty superficial, so they may eventually fill in with new skin cells pushing up from the bottom, while the surface exfoliates off with time. My only concern is the deeper inflammation which can cause fat and structure atrophy underneath from that intense heat. Hopefully, the PRP headed that off at the pass. You're right about lasers >>> they're wicked dangerous.

While the burning was fresh I made a mask of mainly yellow mustard. It included turmeric for inflammation, Manuka honey, arnica for swelling, & aloe gel.
For the healing process I used 20% zinc oxide, 10% glucosamine and 5% niacinamide in a aloe gel base.
Unfortunately, I didn’t inject the PRP until several days after & I didn’t think to inject my entire face to prevent atrophy! Which is now my concern as I already feel it’s happening!! ;(. As for the pits, I’m not as hopeful, but pray you’re right that they’re superficial. They appear very deep to me.
Thank you for responding! :)

Now I have got an infection and I am under antibiotics!!!!!
Do you have pits? The burns will heal it’s the pits and atrophy that terrify me.
