Damage and Destruction

I had HIFU/Ultherapy done in January and again March 2018. It has ruined my life, all the fat from my face has disappeared and my eyes have been affected physically and with vision loss. I now have reduced and double vision as it destroyed nerves in face. I have numb legs and horrific nerve damage to body, feels like hundreds of needles sticking in me. I struggle daily and worry what else this treatment will bring. Run a mile, never ever do Ultherapy. I had a good life and only wanted to look a bit better, instead my life has been ruined.

Would you be willing to post pics? I am so sorry that you are going through this. Praying that you will recover.
I’m going through the same. That’s what the machines do. It is supposed to melt fat. I didn’t know this at the time.
Ultherapy isn't generally used for fat reduction. It shouldn't melt fat unless used incorrectly by generating a high amount of concentrated heat to kill fat cells. A lot of the risk seems to be from people going to 'med spa' type places instead of board-certified plastic surgeons who have a better understanding of the facial structure. That or getting too many procedures in hopes of "speeding up" the results or because they weren't happy after their first. They may be at the point in their life where surgery is more appropriate. But one treatment a year is sufficient for mild to moderate skin laxity.
