Sorry to hear you're regretting your tattoo so much -- are you still feeling the same way? Are you going to start removal?

Hi Eva, yes I still feel the same. I have some days I feel ok then I remember the mess I'm stuck with on my arm and feel down again. I'm hoping to start removal in a months time. It's really hot at the moment and is still new. It will be 2 months old when I start treatment. I'm dreading it because it's over quite a big area, and will look a lot worse before it gets better. Its in such an obvious place, I don't know what I was thinking.
Black outline seems to be the last part to fade on the pictures I see too

Sorry to hear that. It's a shame you don't like it. Keep us posted on how you're doing.

Let's be honest: tattoos are useless, nobody will ever notice/care about them (except for the first 2/3 hours) and our CLEAN body is the best thing ever. If I had a "time machine", I'd use it INSTANTLY! "DO NOT INK!" will be the lesson I'll teach to my sons and to anyone in the future.

I had a tattoo on my lower arm 2weeks ago. I massively regret it. I can't accept what I've done. It doesn't suit me. It's too big, and difficult to hide. Im embarrassed and driving myself mad thinking about it.
I have being to see about laser removal . Whilst the lady I saw was lovely and reassuring, I've being looking online since and there seems so many horror stories.
Is the ND YAG laser capable of removing black outlines? I've being told I can have my test area done at 4 weeks? Iv being told I can do this at 4weeks. The lady was very nice, and confident it would go providing I care for it correctly. She also leaves 10 -12 weeks between each treatment as it will give best results. Will removal be achievable on new tattoo?

I've feel I've got to put my life on hold till its gone. Any advice please. will I be blister, bleeding? Tia

Just make sure it is healed. It will take time to fade it away - if you get a scar it will take much longer to remove the ink under the scar. I have been wanting to get rid of a finger tattoo since i got it (March 8, 2016) and it still hasn't healed in one spot. My laser guy i will be going to just keeps telling me to wait until it is totally healed... I really want to get a start on it but i know that i will regret it, if i start too early.
Best of luck with your journey....
Thanks for your reply. I feel terrible about it at the moment. Though have become terrified of the removal process with mine being quite a large area and being in a place difficult to hide. I'm so stupid! I'm hoping I can accept it eventually and feel better about it
I totally understand! I have a black mess of ink on my CHEST that I've been trying to get off my chest (pun intended) for awhile now.

I'm using a Q-Switch laser and if I'm not mistaken the "ND YAG" laser you are using must be a Q-Switch as well? As long as it has the 1064nm wavelength (which I'm pretty sure it does) it should be well suited to break down black ink.

Don't be scared, it's do-able. Yes, it takes some time but the time flies by very fast when you have laser sessions to look forward too, trust me! I can't believe I'm on session #9, it feels like I just started. And I don't regret starting laser removal one bit. Don't let those "horror stories" get to you. It's rare to have a really bad experience. If you found a reputable and trustworthy clinic you'll probably be just fine! When it's over it should be similar to nothing but a really bad sunburn, so it'll be red, swollen, and possibly have blisters but should have little to no bleeding.
Thank you for you reply. Its really helped and so had reading your posts, its great to see your updates.
I'm using ND YAG laser as well and I guess it works just fine! Some of the lines in my tattoo are really dense so I haven't seen much difference in those but the other ones are breaking really nicely. Fingers crossed!
