Day 2 Concept Face & Neck Lift

I'm good today face still feels tight and I do have some ear pain and swelling of my ears all of which is normal.. I slept much better last night .. I've walked my dogs today with a hat on .. no bruising .. amazing . Didn't really want to post pictures but will try and take some of wounds for you to see ..

I had neck as well incision behind ear none under chin, I didn't stay in overnight I was second on his list I went down at 1.30 pm in my room about 4pm home 7.45pm I was fine.. recovery going well, only pain is ear swelling and so numb feel like dumbo but don't look it.. my earlobes have swollen and are red, I will be checking in with the clinic tomorrow to check this is all ok .. zero bruising ..

Spoke with Stevie (the clinic are amazing at getting back to you immediately) sent her a photo as expected all normal recovery , it's only day 5 I did the school run no one noticed I'm still amazed I don't have a single bruise everyday just getting better, have makeup on today and feel fab .. earlobes still swollen but hidden under my hair .. i think it's just me that notices .. amazing

would be great to see some before and after and scar photos

Oh bless you .. when are you having it done ? Honestly you will be fine.. first 2 days plan very little .. my ears did get very sore and swollen but are fine now .. yes I will post a picture ..

You know I think it's important to share your concerns about how long it lasts etc .. I personally feel some people expect a miracle I've also had my nose done not by Bella Vou but if I'm honest it was not the nose I wanted but no Ps could have given me the Amanda Holden Nose I wanted as it was too big and a different shape . So when reading all these reviews we have to remember to be happy with ourselves and a little help on the way to make the best of what we have is fab ..one thing I can say is Bella Vou would for sure see you again at any point if you had a problem that counts for a lot .. I did a lot of research and I feel his procedure was perfect re recovery and the result I wanted he was very clear what to expect .. I'm excited for you .. that's not long away ..

That’s good to hear I have been looking at two surgeons but my preference now is with Amir so that’s for this - I’ll keep you posted - excited

So was I, I booked it 2 months in advance and thought about it everyday until I had it done. Should I shouldn’t I what if something goes wrong ! Once you’ve seen him you will feel better about it .. so I’m healing well .. will post a picture of ears shorty.. ears a little numb but so used to it .. happily sleeping on my ears again .. Scars pink ish in using bio oil .. xx

Your results are so good. You were obviously good looking before, but now you’re gorgeous. Have people sussed that you’ve had something done? Bio oil is a miracle worker. It’s a relif to hear that you were feeling the same as i do now... I hope I don’t lose my nerve. This is so much what I want to do....

2 friends asked me what is different about me .. but I feel I just look fresher the main thing for me was my neck which I guess people don’t notice as much .. I think I would like a chemical peel next to get rid of sun damage I’m going to ask him when I have my 6 week check .. are you going to be awake wonderfish? You will honestly be fine ..

You are stunning. your neck is beautiful. I just went in for a consult (different doctor) to do eyes, lower facelift (get ride of the jowls) and a neck lift which really bothers me so much. I usually wear t-necks or scarves all the time. I dont have actually many wrinkles in my face so it makes my neck all the worse. The GA worries me, for me to have all this done would be about 4 to 5 hours. I am not sure I could handle that. plus the Dr. said with a neck procedure there are drains kept in place 24 hours after the procedure. Did you have that? Was there anyone at home to look after you? It sounds like you had a lower facelift and neck procedure, your skin looks beautiful and it is amazing you did not bruise at all. Did the GA make you nauseous? Sorry for all the questions. Just that after my consult I thought, No-I can't do this. it is too much and too scary but then seeing your post and pictures and comments have me rethinking it all. Plus I just want to look fresher (not pulled or tight) my daughter is getting married in June 2019 and I sure would like to do her pictures proud. The way I am now is not so fresh. Thank you, Lisa, for your candor and for posting for the rest of us.

One of the reasons why the Concept lift is so attractive is the local aneasthetic. Last October I had very major surgery under a GA and so I want to avoid another big anaesthetic. I’m scared of being awake, but hope it’s do-able for me. Like you, I wonder what could go wrong, but we all owe it to ourselves to be happy and if looking younger and fresher will do that, then I applaud us all for going for it.
I’m using bio oil on my current scars and it’s magic. Amir’s technique certainly seems advanced. Now that your facial contours look so great, if you have a glowing complexion to match by having a peel you’ll be perfect

yes I had lower face and neck .. I didn’t have eyes .. he does not use drains .. I felt ok after the GA no sickness ..mine took about 3hrs .. I would def have someone at home . I did have people around first 2 days I rested lots and my ears did hurt ..That’s is a lot of surgery to have in one go and I think eyes you can really swell .. are you able to see Amir ? Worth a chat .. I have seen women on here have the whole lot done and I don’t think I would be brave enough to do that it’s definitely a longer recovery which I just couldn’t do ..you know you can watch Amir on you tube doing his surgery .. I hope that helps Scuba ..it’s such a huge decision. Maybe consider face neck then revisit eyes if your not happy ..

I feel, at least for me, to have eyes, face and neck done all at once is way too much. soooo overwhelming. I am seeing a Dr. in March for a consult. (I wish Amir but I dont live in London though i was there for the month of Jan. 2017--how i wish i had known, would have done it then! Oh well, hindsight.... ) You do look amazing! You were beautiful before but now with your neck so smooth, absolutely stunning! You must be so happy. We are happy for you! With thanks & every kind wish.
