Tray 3 of Clear Correct
It's been a while since I posted because there wasn't too much change in my progress. I got my attachments put on 2 weeks ago with tray #3. I needed 8 attachments, 4 on the top and 4 on the bottom. It was a pretty quick process I was in and out within a half hr? But tray #3 was TIGHT at first... You can really tell the difference with the attachments. I am not going to lie it hurt like a [RS bleep] the first couple hrs but once my mouth adjusted it was fine. I kept taking motrin and tried not to take the trays out too much to eat for a couple days. It hurt more having to put the trays back in.
Other than that it has been fine, I got use to the attachments and removing the trays. Moving forward I will leave my trays in for 3 weeks at a time and then return for a followup visit every 6 weeks to check my progress.
As far as teeth movement goes, I noticed my left canine coming down and the other should start coming down within the next couple trays as well. I also noticed some movement with my bottom teeth to make room for the attachments.
I will keep you posted in a couples when I put in tray #4! ????

Hi Everyone, I just started my journery with...
Hi Everyone,
I just started my journery with ClearCorrect. I am 28 years old and I am long overdue for braces! I have 2 high canines and overcrowding issues as you can see if my pics. I've always been insecure with my smile so I'm excited to see the finished product! So far I'm happy with ClearCorrect and how quick the process is. I had my consulation and impressions done in December and received my first set of aligners last Thursday 1/11. I will wear my ClearCorrect trays for an estimated time of 8 months. If everything moves as expected I will be done by October. I purchased the unlimited treatment option and will change my trays every 2 weeks.
When I put my first tray in they were tight but not uncomfortable at all until a couple hours later. I took Motrin for the pain. It was more uncomfortable than painful. On a scale of 1-10 for pain I would say it was a 6. It was a throbbing/aching feeling..just enough to irritate you and mainly at night. This was only for the first 3 days then I was fine. I also developed cancer sores from the trays the first 3 days but that went away when I filed them down myself and used dental wax. I had a pretty bad lisp for the first couple days too until I got use to wearing them and talking in them. Now it isnt too bad.
Last but not least, I can already see a change in movement from just 1 tray! My left canine is already coming down!
I will update you all in 2 weeks! :)
