Great early results - what products did you use to stimulate growth post op? I'm booked in for a HT in Turkey in 6 weeks time....
Hi nickzed, I haven't used any products like minoxidil or propecia. I'm not entirely keen on them. I use products from Lanza. Lanza nourish set. It's a natural stimulating product for hair growth. I was quite red in the recipient area for some time with it just fading, but I'm looking forward to the next month. Good luck in turkey, who you going with?
Thanks for the tip. I'm going to Maral Klinik, their name kept coming up again and again with good reviews. I've been doing PRP since January so I hope that speeds up the healing and growing process cause I didn't want to take the pills either. Tried it for 6 months years ago and didn't like the sides.
Yes .... they do keep popping up. But is very often sounds as if dictated by the clinic. What I understand is that you're part of an "assembly line" and that the actual docter is hardly involved. My son has decided against his clinic for that very reason!
There were 3 people being operated on the day I was there, myself included. I was expecting an assembly line feel to it but was pleasantly surprised. Each patient is in their own room and there are between 2 and 3 people working on you at any one time. The doctor overseas the work and there are also a number of other specialists who come in and check how it's going. Although I didn't understand what they were saying the doctor and his assistants were actively involved. I was actually quite happy to have techs do the work - they do this day in day out so are experienced. The work is fiddly and requires careful extraction and insertion of grafts - I would prefer someone younger with steady hands and sharp eyesite for something like that. But of course your son should only go with someone he feels comfortable with, the results are for life!!!
MARAL HAS GOTTEN SOME BAD REVIEWS SO BE CAREFUL!
Looks good so far. Keep us posted
How's the donor area looking?
Couldn't even tell I had the operation. Healed really well. Haven't had the hair cut shorter than a two at the back. But really good.
Glad to hear it. It's been my only fear about getting this done, that they might over-harvest.
I hope you get a great result.
I hope you get a great result.
you look great, can't wait to see it keep filling in
one of best i've seen after 3 months, also your 5 month photos look amazing. i am 7 days in myself. you may be one of the rare breed that keeps their hair with no shedding. the 2% club. congrats. hoping i am same. could you elaborate on what products you used on scalp, as my redness is gone, i am darker skinned so went quick, but fascinated what you used, if you could even post pics of the products or links. be really grateful. my scalp is quite dry, i know am 7 days in only and am guessing the scalps normal oils havent had a chance to get through

Hi all, I recently had a hair transplant in turkey...
Hi all, I recently had a hair transplant in turkey. I'm very positive after 6 days post op. I had in total around 2200 grafts applied to the front areas of my forehead, with a new hairline. I've used some good products to stimulate early growth and to help the healing process. My donor area is healed

Hi
I am thinking of having plastic surgery with mcan in April . I am glad you had a good experience. Can you tell me a little about the hospital and the aftercare as I am worried? Thanks

Hi Bhavn, the procedure and the aftercare was really good. The clinic / hospital is very clean and you always have a representative at hand should you need them. I've stayed in touch with my rep as they ask for updates on how I'm doing and feeling etc. What type of surgery are you looking to have done?
Tummy tuck and 6 areas of lipo
I met a lady who was having a similar procedure. And she said the treatment went well as we exchanged numbers! If you want have a consultation done at home and relate back everything to the team at mcan you should be fine. Be sure to go with someone though.
Hi all, I'm just over 3 months two weeks post surgery. I thought I'll upload a few pics.
what shampoo did you use?
