43 Year Old English Teacher & Mother of 1 - This is Something I Have Wanted for Years :) - Turkey, TR

As far as I remember I always had very small breasts even when all the girls in my class were wearing a bra I wasn't. When I finally had breasts it was definately small. During the years only when I put on weight my breasts increased in size but still even with all the weight they were still small. After having my daughter my breasts increased again then decreased. So now I had small breasts with no volume. The after I put on weight and lost weight maybe3-4 times which made my breast unbearable to look at. They were now small, no volume and sagging PLUS assymetry :( It was time that I found a good plastic surgeon. But how?? Then one of my close friends told me that her friends daughter had breast augmentation done a couple of months ago and she mentioned how great they looked. So we booked an appointment with this doctor who was actually very close to where I lived. The consultation went really well and I knew there and then that this doctor was going to do my op. He was so caring and understood all my concerns and rest assured that all will be fine. I told him that I wanted to look full but also very natural as I am 5.8 and weigh approx. 140 pounds. So I wanted my breasts in balance with my hips. We decided on 330 or 350cc and due to the assymetry my right breast would be 350 or 375 cc. We booked for the 11th April 2014.

Nerves hit me a day before :) until then I was fine but I was just not functioning properly :) Anyway the day came for my op I was feeling more calm and also very excited that finally I would have full but natural breasts. My op was at 10am and everything went according to schedule. All my girlfriends, mum and sister came to support me and waited until my op was over.

When I was wheeled to my hospital room I felt dizzy but good. Trying to open my eyes I remember the girls coming by my bedside and looking at my breasts and saying WOW they look great :)))) Now that woke me up didn't it :)

The doctor had tried the 330cc but said they were too small so he put 350cc on the left and 375cc on the right. He used Mentor Smooth Round High Profile Gel implants I felt very tight and some pain but other than that I was fine. An hour later I was given something to eat. At night I had a lot of pain and didn't sleep the whole night. Was given painkillers but they didn't seem to kick in so it was a long night..

The next day I felt a whole lot better my doctor came and changed my dressing and told me that everything went well and that I was a very positive patient. So that was nice to hear :) We went home in the after noon and I rested at home. Had sharp pains here and there and had problems sitting and standing also when going to bed and getting up but they got better every day. Was on antibiotics for 5 days and pain killers for 3 days. After that only took a painkiller when necessary.

I went to see my doctor for a check up on day He showed me my breasts in the mirror and to wait for better results as it was too early yet. My nipples seemed low and he said they will be back to normal in time. He showed me how to use my surgical bra and how I should place my breasts in them so they form much better. Such a lovely doctor and to find someone like him here in Istanbul is a blessing. God bless him.

Today Is my 9th day and I feel great. I am constantly checking my new girls in the mirror :) they are starting to look better and better each day. I am as active as possible but ensure that I also rest as much as possible. My next appointment with my doctor is on the 30th April. So will post a picture from that day also.
This is the best thing I have done in a long time and wished that I did it earlier in my years but not to worry better late than never :)

My advice stay as positive as you can as this does help and don't listen to any negative comments and focus on yourself ;)

Today is day 12 post op...feeling much much better. More mobile and have started driving and long walks :) spoke to my doctors medical ass?tant Mr. Sinan about a concern for my left breast going down quicker than the right. He said he spoke to my doctor and that it is too early and to be patient and wait for the final results :) Such lovely people they are :) so here is a couple of pics last pic is a top that I have now finally been able to wear which I couldn't before... FINALLY !!
