The last 3 months have been really good, hair has thickened up more and straightened out enabling me to grow it longer. I still think it will thicken over the coming months as lots of new hair is still fine, and the crown is slowly improving, I can still feel stubble there. All in all I don't think it could have gone better considering where I started, I've stopped all meds now as they had stopped working prior my op anyway. I thought it would be good to post before and after in the same position and lighting conditions so you can get a true reflection of the difference.

Superb. I read the crown can take 18 months so probably more to go yet.

Well done.

Thanks. That's what I'm hoping, I can definitely still feel stubble on the crown, but it's impossible to see an improvement month by month now, I'll post again at 18 months and that's me done until next time, the growth stage can be quite addicting.

I'm at 13 months and I honestly think I have improved a tiny bit in the last 5-6 weeks. My hair overall looks a bit thicker. I didn't have any crown work as I only lost hair in the front and mid scalp so I can't comment on that but I know crown is the last bit to grow in. Very addicting. I'm considering a 2nd small procedure (1,000-1,500 grafts) late this year or early next year for added density.

If you let it grow a bit that might also give better illusion of density, mine looks thicker now when i comb it forward compared to combing it backwards, it still looks thin at the hairline underneath. I've heard density can improve upto 18 months so I'm going to wait until next year and assess but I just keep thinking if I get the same done one more time i'll be sorted for life.

Looks good but your crown will definitely not get any better.. its obvoius from post op pics that the graphs where densely pack st front and mid scalp but not on the crown. You can see graphs where placed far apart in crown area which is why you still have that see trough look. Can only be improved if more density is added which will require second procedure.. i know cause same thing happed to me..

Definitely still thickening up all over, it's impossible to notice on a day to day basis but I think the right side is catching up and the crown is filling in slowly. I'm delighted so far especially with the temples, I haven't had temple points for 16 years so it has totally transformed my look, with a small amount of concealer I can now pretty much achieve a full head of hair and hopefully I will get some additional thickening. I didn't think I would get as good coverage from 4600 grafts so anything else is a bonus.

I use the foam once pretty much every other day when I wash it, not religious though, I mainly use it on my temple sides as Im trying to prevent them from going back further I also haven't been very good with fin but I've started that again. My main concern now is keeping what I have for as long as possible without a second op.

It has now been just over 7 months, the left side is starting to slowly improve as is the crown but they are a good 3 months behind the right side and front, it has improved over last month but it's definetely slowed down.

I saw a lot of growth after 7 months. You might still have more growth to come especially in the crown which comes in last.

I had a few comments a couple of months ago saying I must have had something done, I always tend to find its the thinning or bald guys that tend to notice, I guess they like to think others around them are going bald and then all of a sudden whooaa, where did his hair come from yoy lucky bugger. Ha. I also sometimes catch people staring at my barnet when I look at their eyes if you know what I mean, you catch sly glances, but I'm not complaining, most people probably don't take any notice.
