ORIGINAL POST
So I am booked in for breast implants in October....

So I am booked in for breast implants in October. I currently live in Saudi Arabia, and will be carrying out the surgery in Turkey.
However, after sending the surgeon a document from my last report from my cardiologist about my aortic heart valve he now wants a letter from my GP to say my condition will not cause complications to me heart.
I am now reconsidering the surgery, my life is way more important to me than making my breast the same size. I was hoping some doctors could advise me if the risks would be significantly higher with my heart condition.
Thanks for the advice.

Hello wonderful ladies.
I have been watching you all go through your opps over the last few months, and since my time is almost here I thought it was about time I made my own review. To be honest I just feel really scared. I keep blocking it out then realising it's another day closer. It sounds stupid I know, but I am petrified I don't wake up, especially because I haven't told my mum. I knew she would worry so thought, despite being really close with her, it was best not to say anything. I live in another country and won't see her until Christmas. Also does anyone have any advice for me before the opp? I am trying to think of everything I will need at home etc as I live alone. My friend lives close though so sure she will be on hand but is on vacation a few days longer so I'll be home alone for the first 4 days. I need your support ladies! Thank you

Will you be recovering in a hotel then?

Yea, one night in the hospital then 4 in the hotel then home. Let's hope I'm feeling up to the flight. I just hope all goes well. How are you feeling?

Just be sure you take plenty of things to stave off the boredom, in the happy event that you aren't in much pain and don't need to be doped up the whole time. And if you're doctor approves it, walk and move around afterward. Stretch your arms and pecs and back and abs. You want to be as comfortable as possible for the flight home.

Yes, I've got a hard drive full of films and books. Hopefully I've I'm feeling good I can do a little sight seeing too. I may well be in touch with you after. Really scared I get depressed at the initial results!

Trust in your doctor and trust in the process. Keep reminding yourself it's a process and everyone goes through that proves a little differently, because there are SO many variables in play, from your body type and your individual healing style to your doctor's chosen method of creating the pockets, etc. It's going to turn out just fine. You'll see. ;)
