Ache in my breast

Soreness

Is it normal to be feeling fine and then at two weeks post opp to get a little soreness, more an ache in my breasts. I'm not sure if it's just the implant moving? Kind of feels like touching your muscles after a hard work out. Mostly down my cleavage and underneath the breast. Anyone else experience this?

It is always best to check in with your doctor. I have been feeling a little achiness in that area, but am only 8 days post op, so may be different. You can also post your question in the doctor question and answer section of RealSelf. Maybe do a search to see if someone has asked a similar question 14 days post op. I just asked a question on my own review about underarm pain and also plan to email my PS if it does not resolve by the morning. Take care, feel better real soon :)

I had that achiness around same time, think it has to do with the feel of tissues as they are dropping. Mine was never severe just achy.

Yes I am two months post and still have that. Every once and awhile I have a little reminder that I had a surgery..but these moments are less and less now. :) Glad to see you are healing well. Take it easy. I am just going back to gym tomorrow!

Back to work and feeling great

Ava89
So I've been back to work three days now. I'm a primary school teacher so involves a bit if stretching, standing and you never know when you'll get an unexpected hug but I have been absolutely fine. I work in Saudi so I have to wear baggy clothes so no one at work noticed either ????.

I am a gym freak so I really am missing exercise. I have been going for walks and doing squats. Feeling fine. I need to realise I am still healing though so going to give it another week or so before I hit the gym.

My scars are getting a lot better and my boobs are looking good. One still looks a little smaller and it is also higher but it was a lot bigger implant so trying to be patient. Can't wait until I can wear a normal bra and get back to my vest tops.

I am very happy, sometimes have thoughts of have should I have gone bigger as they are about the size I was with a padded bra, but I didn't hate my small boobs to begin with it was he difference in size I wanted changed so feel I should be happy that is looking a lot better.

Ava, so happy to see that you are doing well! Definitely take it easy still..I know it's hard..I also want to get back to the gym! But, my Doctor reminded me this week that I am still in the window of risk for hematoma which would require a surgery re-do! We don't want to have to do the whole thing over again. :) Just a few more weeks and we will have all restrictions lifted!

Day 6

Ava89
I back home now. Yesterday involved flying and lucking my case around. However, it felt good to get back to my house, shower and sleep in my own bed. I've spoken to my surgeon and he assures me my incisions are not infected and they have actually cleared up a bit since showering and letting the air at them. I think I need to just try to remind myself this is a long process and I can't expect everything to heal and look good in the first week!

Glad you made it home safely. Now take it easy and let yourself heal.

Yes I am. I can feel myself getting itchy feet to exercise but I need to take it easy I know.

So glad that you are home and that your surgeon eased your mind about the incisions. Enjoy this chance to relax and take good care of yourself! The best is yet to come! ;)

Yes, the incisions just need to heal. I don't think they are the neatest, but I guess I need to wait longer to tell what they will be like. Patience, patience, patience. How are you doing?

Ava you look great. Very natural and looks like you've skipped the frankenboob phase. Well done and welcome home!
October 18, 2013
Thank you. I got mod profile maybe that has something to do with the frankenboob?!? My main purpose was to get the asymmetry sorted out and at this stage it looks so much better. I just hope they continue to look good throughout the healing process. I think the breathe point will be at 3 months. Feeling pretty much back to normal now. Eating so much though, can't wait to get back to the gym! How are you doing?

It will be so wonderful to correct the size difference! You are looking good, hope you are feeling good too!

They aren't perfect, but I'm hoping the smaller breast with the bigger implant will drop and they will look the same. The size has definitely improved though. Just need to wait a few months to see the final results!
