I've been waiting for so long and now the time is almost near!
WORTH IT$10,000
I have been been patiently waiting for my surgery since October, 2015. Although it has felt like an eternity, it is almost here. I am scheduled for surgery on April 4th with DR. Miami and boy I am getting nervous. I have so many mixed feelings, but I know this is what I want. I am turning to you ladies for support.

Ugh I know how frustrating it could be. I have started dieting and not eating at night and have lost 4 lbs. I plan on working out a few days a week.

You can do this! Stay focused and your eye on the end results. Try the Weight Watchers plan, I love it!!!

Thanks! I've heard great things about the WW plan. Will give it a try.

I lost 70 pounds on the program 6 years ago and still follow it today to keep the weight off. I have stayed within a 10 pound weight range all these years. Love it and have the app right on my phone. Teaches you how to eat and makes you aware of everything you put in your mouth. You eat regular foods, no need to buy any of their foods at all.

Recovery home
So I am traveling from NY for surgery and am bringing my mom to care for me after surgery. My coordinator advised that it is now required to either stay at a recovery home, or hire a professional care taker for a minimum of 48 hours. Can anyone recommend a recovery home and or nurse in the Miami area?

So far, I'm undecided between Elite Nursing and Miami Escape. I'm not sure who I will go with...I know Miami Escape offer to come to you at your hotel or AirBnB, I'm not sure Elite may offer the same. Oh btw they're both on instagram.

Hey hun. Finally someone writes back! Lol. I've decided to go with Elite Nursing since my mom is coming with me and they were able to accommodate her stay for the 48 hours I am there. After that, I am staying at my relatives house. When is your surgery babe? Are you excited. My surgery is next week and now the nerves are really hitting me.

I know sometimes it's like that on here...lol my date is May 1. I'm so stressed...I don't know where to go for lab work and surgery clearance and my pre op is 4/11 (ahhhhh) lol , but I guess I figure it out the main thing I had to do was get my weight to 174 and I'm 175 now so I'm happy about that.

Yas! Great job! I'm down 10 lbs as well. Do your research for a good primary care physician. You have time. I did my clearance a week before my pre-op and was good. I'm so nervous. I have been losing sleep and all. I have not packed a thing. All I have been doing is praying that all goes well so that I can come back to my babies.

Do you have any tips on weight loss, I would love to get to 170 before surgery..I'm very confident you are in good hands...pls remember no smoking, no birth control and no medication that's on the list they gave you. I will keep you uplifted in my prayers...keep me posted

I have been eating salads everyday and have stopped eating at night completely and the pounds just came off. I also take intermediate salsa classes 2 times a week, which to me is an equivalent of an erobics class.
