WORTH IT
It's with sadness that I write this review of Dr. Hynes.
After a few years of saving money and incredible hard work to lose weight I decided to have abdominoplasty surgery performed. I read some online reviews and within one month chose Dr. Hynes, went for a consult and had the surgery completed and paid in full ($12,000) all within those thirty days.
At first I was purely and truly delighted to have the extra fat gone from my body! What a remarkable difference it made for me from the inside out and Dr. Hynes and his team were absolutely lovely! My husband and I were initially thrilled.
Then, almost immediately we were noticing that my entire left side seemed slightly larger than the other especially my left breast. It seemed so much larger than my right and it hung lower. I thought it may just be from the swelling in my body as I did not have any surgery performed to my breasts. My navel was pointing off in the left direction as was my (now very obvious) labia.
By my follow up check up I brought this to Dr. Hynes attention and even jokingly asked if favoured standing on my left side during the surgery but he assured me things will be alright and that it may take about a year for my body to heal and show full results. Well, here we are a year and a half later and I'm probably going to require more surgery to 'align' me.
Like many of you, I too, loved the interaction and banter back and forth in the beginning with Dr. Hynes and his staff. I even took the time in the beginning to write a glowing review. I really believed in the team.
However, as I said, it's with sadness that I write this review today because although I have called and emailed Dr. Hynes to discuss whether I have any options to explore as it's been over a year now, I have not heard one word in response.
I'm not likely to pursue the matter any further as it will just become too tiring. I was swift to choose Dr. Hynes and paid for his services in full within thirty days and never complained once. I even gave it time for my body to heal in the hopes it would look okay but it just didn't turn out that way and well, not one person from Dr. Hynes' team reached out one time to even acknowledge a phone call or email.
As you can imagine I can only upload one of the pictures from the three regions I mentioned were out of alignment because it would be considered inappropriate. This picture is of my navel.
I am standing straight facing the camera. Between the breast, the navel, and the labia, this picture represents the 'straightest' direction/line that side of my body now shows.
All the best everyone. I can only say that from the minute you notice something is not right, you stay on it until you get results. It's the fair and just thing to do. :)
UPDATE: For whatever reason, my picture did not upload. I'll keep trying.
