Yesterday, 10/22/18, was my surgery day, which went better than I expected, thanks to the amazing nuses, personable and funny anesthesiologist, and my the amazing Doctor Thomas. His bedside manner is top notch and his communication is genuine. The staff is just incredible!! They made me feel so comfort and put my nerves at ease. They even allowed me a somewhat longer recovery because I was so tired. I absolutely would recommend Dr Thomas for any procedures.

Good luck with your surgery! So happy I decided to have this procedure. I’ll be having a mastopexy next spring as well.

I've been staying on a tight medication schedule which has made recover more comfortable. I still feel the incision site if I try to do much of anything, but I make sure I'm up every couple of hours to walk around the house for about 10 minutes. The pics are pre-op and day 1 recovery with drains in. I purchased a running belt that holds little 10oz bottles & used the water pickers for holding my drains.
I'm pretty excited to see what it'll all look like when the swelling is gone ????

Thank you I appreciate that! I set my appointment for a TT for January 3rd. So hopefully my story will climax at that point and I can leave it all behind me. I live in the gym and can feel my muscles underneath the PAH. If I wake up looking even close to you. I will probably start crying.

You looked amazing before your original procedure, I didn’t even realize that was a possible side effect. You’ll get back to where you were, I’m so happy that you’re appointment is set to correct it. You’ll love it! Yes, tears of joy happened or me, and I’m confident you’ll have the same. So excited for you! The recovery from a TT is rough for the first 3 or 4 days, but definitely worth it!!

Def a lessened learned. You're so brave to do it! Have you reached the point where things are getting easier? FYI I'm gonna show my doc your pic if you don't mind! There's something I just can't wrap my head around. How can anyone wear a compression garment over the incision?! It's something I can't wrap my head around that has to hurt (more).

Oh of course, share the pics with your physician, I don’t mind at all. I have a love-hate relationship with my abdominal binder. Overall the compression garment is not too bad. It actually makes me feel like my incision is supported. It can get uncomfortable to constantly wear at times, but not at the incision site because they put a loose bandage between the incision and the compression garment. Plus, it helps keep the swelling down so I only take it off to shower. I’ve heard of woman having to wear theirs for 8 weeks, but I only have to use mine for 4 weeks thankfully.
