Unhappy with results - feel like the doctor rushed my surgery

Update - the video isn’t showing.

I posted a video and watched it but the video is no longer there so I am posting some pictures/screenshots of the video I had posted. You can see my right side of my tummy tuck has extra skin still and can easily grab and pull over. I’m not sure why this side of my stomach wasn’t pulled down as much as the left side. I’m very unhappy how much loose skin was still left on my right side. Under my bellybutton and all to the right side is still loose.

ORIGINAL POST

Unhappy with Results

I had my surgery done on Feb 3rd 2021. They say it takes a full year to see your final results of a tummy tuck and that is why I am reviewing a year later. I will start by saying that I’m not only un-satisfied with my tummy tuck but the surgery experience as well. All appointments before hand went pretty well. When I got prepped for the surgery it was continuously going well, such as getting my gown on, talking with Dr. Ehret’s workers about surgery, etc. I was in a room on a chair behind a curtain waiting for surgery. When Dr. Ehret came in and drew on my stomach before the surgery he was professional and he did make me feel very comfortable, however it all changed once the nurses gave me the drug that makes you go to sleep.

Remember, I wasn’t even in a bed yet. I remembered his female co-worker saying to me “okay, so we’re going to give you this now” not telling me what it was the anesthesia, they put it in my IV & she then told another female co-worker “we better walk her to the bed fast, she is small and will feel this fast.” As I’m walking out of the room with the two women, I remember feeling it as she was saying that to her, and passing out long before I ever saw my bed. I passed out for my surgery while STANDING UP WALKING. There would be no way for me to even know they caught me once I went limp, what if I had fallen and hit my head? (I wrote this in my Notes App on my iPhone on Feb 11, 2021 only 8 days after my surgery, and will add pic for proof)

Not only this experience is what has me upset spending 15k on my mommy makeover. It’s the fact that my tummy tuck wasn’t evenly done, the left side of my stomach is nice and tight, very flat, but the right side of my stomach has A LOT of extra skin still, and I have what is called a “dog tag” in that side as well. I had a pretty bad case of Diastasis Recti and my right side is no where near as strong as my left side like it should be. There is nothing good about my right side of my stomach and I’m extremely sad about it. My clothes are tight on my right side of my stomach while the left side is not, and I cannot wear low waisted pants, shorts, or skirts under my bellybutton because the right side of my stomach is flabby still. I constantly have to hide the fact that my right side is different by pulling up the right side of my clothes.

The surgery was also supposed to be 6 hours and my husband got the call 3 hours after he had dropped me off that I was done and ready for pick up. I feel like Dr. Ehret rushed my surgery. When I went to the 6 month post op appointment I told him it looked like I had swelling on my right side still and he said there was a little swelling, and to wait the full year for it to heal, it has now officially been a year and this is not swelling. I moved across the country a little after my 6 month post op so there is nothing Dr. Ehret could do surgically for me now, not that I would want that in the first place since it took me so much courage to finally go under and have this done as I’m scared of surgery and being put under. Also the little time that he worked on me while so many people called him an artist and that he actually cares about his work I feel like for me he didn’t do that in the slightest, which isn’t fair and a lot of money wasted.
