Great Experience, Doc, and Staff
Dr. Diehl (deal) is awesome - she has a super outgoing personality, puts you at ease, and is talented.
I just had my 5 month post-op and I’m really happy with my results and the overall experience! I’m in my mid 30s, never had kids, and no amount of exercise would get rid of my big and uneven tummy. The doctor spent over an hour with me during my consultation to carefully examine my body, answer all my questions, and show me tons of before and after pictures of women with similar body and skin texture as mine. This is super important - skin tone, texture, color, and experience is key to have a realistic and clear understanding of what you can expect. Dr. Diehl was very clear about what my scar would look like and gave me options for trade offs. Her candor, options, and never pressuring me made me ultimately go with her. (Besides her credentials and awesome personality! Hey - you want to like your doctor!)
Oh! And I appreciate that I wasn’t told to decide and pay that day. I’ve been to doctors that say this and it’s such a turn off. This is a huge and expensive experience. Dr. Diehl and her staff never pressured me!
Some key tips for anyone considering a tummy tuck:
- get a recliner. You’ll never regret it. Promise.
- give yourself a lot of patience and grace. It took me 4 weeks before I was standing straight
- don’t get discouraged. I was nervous I was healing slower than others I’ve seen on YouTube. And maybe that will happen. That’s ok. It’s key to listen to your body and your doctor.
- buy 3-4 spanx things. You’ll quickly hate the one you’re given lol. And you’ll need a smaller size before you know it!
- lastly, if you’re considering Dr. Diehl - schedule a consultation! She and her staff are fabulous!
