Dr. Bucio, VIDA Wellness, Good and Bad Experience
This is a hard review to make. I had surgery Dec 8, 2020, a extended tummy tuck, lipo. and a mini BBL, which Dr. Bucio and his team were amazing, took good care of me. I was scared to have plastic surgery this extreme in Mexico, but I completely have no fears anymore. That is why this review is so hard to make, because the facility, doctor and people were great.
I am not happy with my results. I explained this to Dr. Bucio's coordinator, Mrs. Grande, starting in Feb. 2021. She asked me for pictures 3/29 and came back with, "let yourself heal for 5 months" and asking if I had lost weight, which was what I felt they were saying was causing the loose skin. I explained I had not lost weight, but that there was many other issues too.
I paid for liposuction that never got done, my tummy tuck is not tight, I have ALOT of loose skin in my butt and now back (lower back wrinkles I never had before). I was told that my outer tights would be lipo'd so that my skin could be pulled up and smooth out the cellulite look, which was customary in a BBL and extended tummy tuck to pull the skin tight, but instead nothing got pulled up and no lipo was done.
I asked the coordinator to set a online consult with Dr. Bucio, as I wanted to come back to Mexico and allow the facility/Dr. Bucio to fix the issues, as this extends beyond "results may vary or different per person". The procedure just needs to actually be done, as paid for, perhaps I was heavier than they expected and didn't expect my surgery to be as long as it was, but any rate, I want what I paid for. I feel botched but I do look and feel better than when I went in.
The coordinator will not set up another consult and have only told me, I can pay for a revision, but I would like to start with getting done what I already paid thousands to have done! I feel like I am being blown off now. I don't regret having plastic surgery at VIDA Wellness/Cosmed Clinic but wish they would stand by their word and do ALL of the procedure or fix it if something was missed.
