TT with lipo and MR finally did it!

Hi guys! I wanted to check in and give an update on my progress! So I’m officially 4 months PO! It feels like I just had my surgery yesterday time is going so fast! So here’s an update! I did have my appointment with Dr. Song on 6-18. He came in felt my tummy for seroma and said I am healing great my abdominal stitches are still in tact and that the swelling looks normal. I voiced my concerns about the upper abdominal lump and he said it may be fat and swelling and that after my 6 mo mark if it is still the same he would happily do Lipo in that area. He also said he would do some more Lipo in my pubic area below my belly button bc that part has never really gone down. The exam was lightening fast! I really wish I lived closer to the office so I would t have to drive 4.5 hours for a 10 minute office visit but this is what comes with having an out of town surgeon so keep that in mind ladies! All in all I feel great, I’ve had no major issues, I’m still swelling daily but not as bad as before. I still love my results so far and do not regret a moment of the surgery! I remembered to take some pics to show my progress. The pics are as soon as I woke up without wearing my spandex or compression. If you guys have any questions or advice I’m an open book! Hi guys! I want to keep you guys in the loop of my waking journey in hopes that I can help someone else that may be considering this procedure or about to undergo this procedure. Ok so all in all I feel perfectly normal and fine. I haven’t been having any pain or symptoms at all and I’m back to my regular everyday schedule. However, about two weeks ago I started noticing that I seemed to be protruding a little right above my belly button and under my rib cage. Now at first I just brushed it off as being intense swelling or maybe I over worked myself that day even though I’m still wearing my spandex and tummy board every day. As the weeks passed I started to notice the bulge seeming to get larger. I thought maybe I was over thinking this but my husband mom and sisters all noticed the same thing. With me living 4 hrs away from Dr. Song it is a little difficult to get right in for an appointment. Plus he reassured me via FaceTime and pictures that I looked fine and had no need to worry just a few weeks ago. So I didn’t want to seem paranoid but it was becoming more and more noticeable. So yesterday I took more pictures and sent them to Dr song. He said he thinks everything is fine and of course once I come in for my follow up he would take a closer look. I originally had an appointment with him at the end of May but his assistant called me to tell me Dr.Song would now be in surgery so I had to reschedule. My new appointment is in a week and I am getting very anxious and nervous. I don’t feel like there is anything major that is wrong but it is a little depressing to not see the same flat tummy that I was seeing in the previous weeks. :( unfortunately we will be taking vacation next week and I was so excited and looking forward to wearing my first two piece swimwear lol but now I don’t know if I’m confident enough to wear it. I will insert pictures to show you guys l. The pictures are after wearing my waist corset overnight and my wrap all night. Other than the bulge that I’m seeing I have no concerns or worries. My scar is healing nicely and does not bother me at all. It is still rather dark and noticeable but I am not worried about it. I will be sure to keep you guys updated with what Dr. Song has to say about my bulge. Looking on the internet can get scary lol but I’ve been seeing a lot of patients mention the upper abdominal bulge after surgery and some mention needing to have liposuction done once they’ve completely healed. I’m not sure if that’s the case for me but I will be sure to ask him and let you guys know. If you guys have any questions, recommendations or any doubts or worries please feel free to write me! Hi guys! First I want to apologize for being MIA for a while! It has been quite a journey I must say! I want to do my best at updating you guys and helping anyone that I can! So guys on the 28th of this month I will be 3 months post op! Guys I will definitely say do not second guess yourselves this surgery is the best decision I’ve ever made! I am healing well and not feeling any pain at all! I still swell everyday and I really hate that part but I know it’s to be expected for up to 6 months to a year ugh! But even with the swelling I still love what I see. I have noticed that recently I have been swelling a lot more above my belly button than before. I was a little concerned bc it seems excessive and I was afraid that I may have over worked myself. I will be sure to let you guys know what Dr. Song say about it but I’m sure everything is ok and normal. I have resumed all normal daily activities including picking my one year old up. It feels so great to be able to go shopping and try on clothes without feeling reluctant. To anyone that is considering this procedure please go through with it! I will be sure to insert pictures!
