Hi guys! I want to share my experience with the amazing dr. Mike Song. This website was so helpful to me so it’s only right that I add my review. I had my surgery on 2/28/19 with dr. Song in Duluth,Ga. the whole team was amazing. Very professional and caring. Dr songbsat down with me and explained the procedure and addressed any questions. On the day of the procedure everything went so fast and smooth! I was terrified as this was my first surgery, and Dr. Song and the anesthesiologist made me feel much calmer. Also Dr. Songs assistant Adrianna was so warm and caring. I woke up in my garment however I can already tell that I’m definitely on the flat side! I will input before and after and hopefully this will help someone with making their decision!

I am looking to have a TT, possible (probably) lipo and maybe MR...my family doctor told me in January that the little fat pocket in front of my belly button is a hernia...so I’m assuming I will need to have that repaired also. My stomach right now is similar to your before pic. I haven’t gone for a consultation of any type other than talking with my doctor during my annual checkup on January. I am currently, and have been for the last her or so, been dealing with lower back pain, sores on the lower part of my stomach from where my jeans pinch when I’m in a sitting position and of course having to wear larger tops that don’t fit like a glove on my stomach. I have exercised and lot weight in the past and it seems it doesn’t want to leave my stomach and any weight that i have gained back has gone straight to my stomach area. I am strongly feeling like this would be the right direction for me to go in. We have a plastic surgery center here who does amazing work. I think I will call for a consultation to at least start the ball rolling. Thoughts? Tips?

Hi! I absolutely understand I had the same exact thing I had a hernia needed mr and had to always wear large shirts! I can’t scream to you loud enough to GO THROUGH WITH IT YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!! I am now 3weeks and 3 days po and I love love love my results! I am in no pain, my swelling is subsiding, I can throw on a tank top and not look pregnant! Lol! Definitely only do it if you are 100% ready and pray on it but I promise you won’t ever regret or look back! It’s a large investment I know but it is the best investment I’ve made! I can’t wait to see your before and after! Good luck and best wishes!!

Hi guys! I just wanted to leave a review for Dr. Mike Song. This website helped me tremendously and I want to help anyone that may have questions and deciding on a TT. I had my TT with lipo and MR on 2/28/19. I was so nervous going in but everything went smoothly and very fast! When I went in I got an iv and met with the anesthesiologist. Everyone in the practice are wonderful, kind and caring. dr Song is amazing. He comforted me and did his drawings. I woke up to a great deal of pain. The nurses weee so kind and helpful. They wanted me to urinate before I could leave but due to the anesthesia I couldn’t no matter how I tried so they had to put in a catheter which was always a great fear to me :( very uncomfortable. I woke up in a binder so I can’t see my tummy but it is amazing how flat it is even with the binder on! The first day was honestly horrible. I’m not trying to scare anyone out of the decision but I want to be 100% honest. I’ve never felt pain like this before. I’m now day 2 PO and of course I’m still in pain and working on my breathing. I have a little bleeding on my right side at incision sight which I think I caused from pulling the wrong way to get on the toilet. What I love most about dr song is his compassion with his time. I text him at 3am and he immediately responded back reassuring me that everything was ok. I also text him last night at 10 about my breathing and once again he immediately responded. For him to give his cell number to patients shows how he really cares! I will insert a before and after (however I still have on binder) and I will do my best to answer any question or concern that I can offer! Ladies we deserve this and are beautiful either way! The pain is rough but the outcome is sooo worth it!!

Hi. I'm scheduled for my TT on 3/18 and I'm so scared about the pain. Did you receive Exparel during your procedure? Exparel is a numbing medication the surgeons inject into your tissue during the procedure to numb you for 72 hours. What kind of pain meds did you get sent home with? Did they help you? Thanks.

Hi Nicole6345! No worries! I didn’t get the exparel but I honestly wish I had given it a try! Don’t be nervous I promise it all happens sooo fast! The dr will send you home with prescriptions at your preop appt. it will be Percocets, a anti nausea med, antibiotics and a muscle relaxer. For me honestly the Percocets didn’t relieve all of the discomfort I felt but the muscle relaxer gave me more relief and helped me sleep. The muscles relaxer you can only take twice a day and the Percocets he has me taking them every 3-4 hours. So in my option the muscle relaxers were more effective with quickly relieving the pain. Hi! Just wanted to give an update. So today has been a little rough mostly bc of the dreadful drains. My right drain is causing a pinching sensation every time I move and I had a small amount of leaking around the opening. However Dr.Somg reassured me that some leaking is to be expected. I haven’t had a big appetite at all since surgery. Whenever I do try to eat I feel full very fast so I’ve been drinking water and mostly eating fruits. My breathing is getting a little easier but I’m still working on it throughout the day. Not in a lot of pain I would say it’s more so uncomfortable and sleeping sitting up makes my body tight and sore. I will do my best to post more pics once I can get around a little more :)

Hi Robynb21 he does offer experal for an additional $400 I went without it just bc most reviews state there’s really nothing to compare it to rather it works or not but now I wish I had given it a try.
