Three years post op
After three years, I'm still so glad I did it. My scar is so faded now I don't really think about it much. I even wear bikinis that do not cover it and it is not that noticeable. I have hit the gym a lot, and it is wonderful to have a stronger core. I don't miss leaking pee when I cough or sneeze anymore at all! Not a benefit many people discuss, but it happened to me. I am 5 weeks out from a Figure competition. That suit won't cover much at all,the scar and all my leftover but tightened stretch marks will out in the open. But I feel so much better and confident. Still very happy with my decision!

It was a year ago yesterday that I had my procedure. I went for my one year post op a week or so ago and my doctor wants to fix a few little things on my scar at no charge, but it will have to wait until fall, since he is having surgery himself. I would have to say this surgery has improved my life overall. I feel stronger and the change in my appearance has made me very happy.
