I am not going to fluff this people- this has been hard. The first 3 days are incredibly uncomfortable. You will need help. I ended up buying a walker as my back completely gave out on me around day 3. Sleeping on my back has been a big challenge as well. I am lucky to have an adjustable bed. You will not be sleeping flat or on our side for about 10 days. The drains are weird but don't hurt. You must take care of the drain sites and keep track of your drainage amounts diligently. Dr Dawes' staff of nurses have been wonderful checking in and being available for me whenever required. I saw Dr Dawes a couple of days ago for my first post op follow up and all is well. I am on day 9 today and just had my second drain removed.

ORIGINAL POST

TT & Lipo. Goodbye Hereditary Tummy

I have always been self conscious of my flabby tummy from the time I was about 14 years old. I was always thin but after a hysterectomy gained a lot of weight which just accentuated my tummy even more. After a 60 pound weight loss, the fact that the doughnut did not disappear even though I was running 30k a week was my do or die. I thought about this for 3 years, so my decision did not come lightly.

Do you mind me asking your age?
