After about 2 years of research and trying every form of diet going I’ve finally booked my surgery with dr berker buyukgural in Istanbul. I have had two children in a short period of time one aged 4 the Other 2. So my stomach has been stretched to the max and left me with excess skin.
Dr Berker came to london recently for consultations and I went to meet him instantly I knew he was the one. I had followed his work and spoke to him in 2016 and 2017 but was still undecided. This appointment solidified it for me. I asked for lipo on my arms and he suggests vaser instead as he doesn’t want me left with loose skin. I’ll be uploading before pictures eventually. Surgery date 15th March 2018.

So today is the day I arrived yesterday and had a driver waiting he was very nice. The traffic getting to the hotel was horrendous but when I arrived I was so glad to see the hotel and the hospital are literally joined together. The hotel is very clean and receptionist very helpful.
I had to go nil by mouth as of 3am and of course I’ve woken up with the driest throat and have quite a cheery cough which I’m dreading having to cough after surgery. My surgery time is 12 but will go over at 10.30 to meet dr.berkers PA (who has been lovely) . Needless to say I thought about booking a return flight many times last night but I’ve come this far so I’m going ahead!!

Day 1 I pretty much slept came out of theatre freezing!!!! Made my cold 10x worse. Coughing and sneezing absolutely kill.
Day 2 was tougher than day 1 felt very sore and bruised like I had been run over by a lorry. But I was still able to get up and walk about 3 times with assistance it was exhausting. Day 3 I was able to get out of bed by myself. Still have my drains in will be having these removed today
