6 1/2 Weeks ...SOOOOO Swollen
It’s been a few weeks since I updated. Overall things have been going really well. I had another follow up with my PS and things look good. Both he and the nurse commented on how tight and swollen I am still. He said it’s normal at this stage but ugh, I hate it! So many things don’t fit. I am very please with my flat stomach and overall appearance but getting dressed can be frustrating. I guess I’m glad that the nurse and doctor commented on the swelling, at least I know this will get better. Patience just isn’t my strength, LOL.
Belly button progress pictures
I wanted to post a few pictures of my belly button to show how it has changed in the first four weeks since my surgery. This is something I was very curious about and didn’t find a lot of information on. Hopefully this will be helpful to others. As I mentioned, I was very unhappy at first. I’ve talked to my PS and his nurse and both tell me it will continue to improve in appearance over the next several months.
Updated pictures
Took some pics this morning before swelling starts. The rash is faded a LOT. The lines are from the seams of the t I’m wearing under my binder. I’m really happy so far with my results! I’m adding words now so my update will be long enough to post LOL.
