Gettting there
$7,000
It’s 10 weeks post op. I am not there yet, I have some pooching around my lower abdomen. I am including pics so be honest but I think the pooch is the same as before but the skin is tighter.... dr says 6 months is the earliest I can expect to see final result so I guess I have to wait but I am not 100% happy . Maybe I am eating too much....

My litttle pooch....
So I am about 10 weeks post op. My upper abs look amazing, like a little 4 pack (when I stand up straight) but my lower at abs have a little pooch which isn’t much different than before surgery, just the skin is tighter. Dr says 6 months is the timeline to see results so I remain hopeful but here it is. Feel free to comment and be honest.

Dr. Campbell is a Great Surgeon!
My tummy tuck experience was very good. I was scared and had some reservations because of my age but it went well and my care was really good!
The surgery itself is no little procedure, I knew this going in so I didn’t expect to be up and running for a while. It was just as I expected, I was sore, tired and stiff but Dr. Campbell was immensely patient with me, answered all my questions, had compassion for any issues I was confronting and never was anything but kind and professional.. I have had a facelift, ear lobe reduction, tummy tuck and lipo with him and would trust him with anything else I wanted to do. Nothing but great things to say about him and his staff.

Thanks Pippa, feeling good and doing all the things I did before. Hey did you have any swelling above your incision or below your belly button after 8 weeks? That’s the only little area that I am not super happy about right now. Maybe I am just eating too much : )

Thank you for sharing your story. I am almost 57 and was thinking that I was getting to old to get a tummy tuck. I am really scared to do it but your story and outcome has helped me a lot. I have my first appointment today with a PS. Please keep sharing your updates!!!

I hope your appt went well. I will post my current pics very soon. It’s 8 weeks approx and I have a bit of a pooch but the surgeon says its fluid and can take 6 months to totally resolve. I feel like at 59 I was willing to do exactly as I was instructed and that really helped my recovery. I am now doing everything I did before surgery which is leading an active life. Thanks for posting, keep an eye out for my new pics

Glad you are doing well Susan. Normal routine is always good. It is amazing how quickly you bounce back and the awesome transformation back to hourglass silhouette.
