Loving my results
WORTH IT
I’m back to working out but taking it easy. So far I’m super happy with the results and I have been told I still haven’t seen the full results of the lipo, it could be up to 6 months. My Tummy Tuck scar isn’t really coming along too. Thanks again for changing my life Dr. Hunsaker!

Loving my results
My surgery was June 23 and I am almost 1 month post op. I’m loving my results probably even more excited that my drain tubes are out and I’m free from the necessary evil!

How long is the recovery? I'm contemplating. i just had breast augmentation 7/15/20.
Congrats on the BA! I added my experience on here https://myoutdoorglam.com/2020/07/22/example-post-3/
First week is probably the worst by the third week I was getting around perfectly fine. Not allowed to life anything heavy for quite some time.

I tried your link but it's not working for me. Is that the whole link? Thanks!
My apologies actually took it down because of receiving so many questions and I felt it was unfair to not respond in a timely manner.

Texas Girl with a Brand New Belly
Where do I start...I live in Texas and had two prior consultations for a tummy tuck here before finding Dr. Hunsaker. I never felt comfortable or confident with either of them. I read the mixed reviews online and was a little nervous at first but there’s always good with the bad. Dr. Hunsaker has an excellent resume and undoubtedly knows what he’s doing. He was extremely thorough, even explained what could be a possibility as well (which thankfully he didn’t have to go that route). He’s very straightforward which I appreciate as well. I am still in the healing process it’s been a little over a week since my tummy tuck and I am already so happy about the results and I’m not even close to seeing the final. I can’t thank him enough for changing my life. I’ve lived 15 years with a “fat flap” as I call it or the mommy apron and to wake up and not have that anymore was a very emotional moment for me. If you do exactly as you are told from pre op to post op you won’t have a horror story as some. My theory on the ones that turned out bad are the ones that didn’t follow instructions.
I’m ever so grateful for Dr. Hunsaker!

So how long is the recovery and is there anything extra needed to heal other than what is given from the doctors?
I also had lipo with my tummy tuck and honestly I fee like that might be the most uncomfortable part. The tightness and tension in my tummy lasted about a week and I wasn’t able to stand up straight. My incisions have been numb so they haven’t bothered me and the drain tubes are a necessary evil which are just annoying. No heavy lifting of strenuous activities for at least 6 weeks. 2-3 months for the swelling and bruising to fade completely. Wear a binder for 6 weeks, I have the other compression garment for when the tubes come out. I was taking the arnica to reduce swelling, bruising, and pain. They will give you detailed instructions on what to take and things to avoid as well. Hope this helps.
Thank you so much for the reply! My surgery is in December I'm excited but am a little concerned about the scar and the healing process. Thank you again.
You’re very welcome! It’s normal to have questions and concerns, I know before my surgery I was excited and scared all at the same time. My scar will go hip to hip but it’s really low so I know when I wear a bikini it will be covered. I will end up posting pics of before and after as soon as my swelling goes down. The first few days are probably the worst. Once you make it past that it gets SO much easier. If you have little ones or animals make sure you have help. Bending over is still a chore but once drain tubes are removed I’m sure it will be easier. If no one is around I have been forced to either leave what I dropped in the floor or use my toes ha! Also, I recommend getting a recliner if you don’t have one it’ll be a life saver for sure!
Yes I am having Lipo and the tummy tuck at the same time as well. And I will have help I already have them Lined up! I live in Texas also. Now about the garment will I have to wear it right after the surgery? Meaning the very next day?
