Tania Medina Botched Me
untitled-prod-video-193620-id-49522
I went to Dr Mediana April 17, 2017. I paid her $6,300 for a tummy tuck, lipo 360 and BBL to be operated at her clinic CECILIP however on the night before the surgery was instructed to check in to a different clinic CECIPLER being that the operating in CECILIP was contaminated.
On the first day after surgery I was takne to My Home Recovery where I had been staying since I arrived, it was clean, I ws treat nice and the food was good and owned by Dr. Medina. But once I got my surgery things changed. The minute I got there before I could get in my room I was bombared with offers to by fajas, meds, massages and the pillows despite me telling them to give me a minute that I didnt feel well.
Next day I was taken to see Dra Medina by the drivers to Cecilip. This is the second time I see Dra. Medina and tell her I don't feel good at all. She informs me that my blood count went from 41 pre op to a 24 post op and that I needed to pay $650 for 2 pints of blood. For personal reasons I aksed if my daughter who came with me could donate it and the Dr refused. My friend who lives in the country and was with me the entire time went to the red cross and other labs to get the blood for me and the Dr refused until on the third day feeling terrible I agreed to call my husand to send the money and buy the blood from her.
By then I noticed bad buising around my belly button and redness on all my incitions. I could see my wounds were red and uneven. I complained to Medina on my visit and was told that I would feel better and take time to heal. She recommended I take the hyperbaric chaber treatment to get blood flowing to the wound so I heal quicker.
I did feel better becase I got the transfussion that cost $650, wore the faja that cost $125, had been getting the daily massages at $25 a day with the creams that cost $60 a tube and going to the 2 hours a day recommended of hyperbaric chamber therapy $200 daily and paid the taxis back and forth to all the appointments. Although I was still in terrible pain the swelling seemed to go down and I at times I felt like myself. I did this for 5 days.
By then I had been in the country 9 day getting set to go home the next. On my Dr appointment Medina tells my drain is not ready to come out yet but that i can take my flight that my wound will take time to heal and the drain will come out. I would look like a Barbie doll!
After coming home i would eep in touch with Medina sending her pictures of my wound and what I looked like. A week later the drain finally comes out but the wound does not heal and my belly bottom look inflated, my sin starts to show the lipo burns and is greenish and crusty. She says it will take time to heal that im looking normal and the wounds are smaller. i tell her i am concerned, she says come back to santo domingo so i take care of you....i could arely go to the bathroom let alone get on a plane! I had terrible spasms and was developig a fever.
Finally my husand taes me to the ER where i am told i have necrosis, a herniated umilicus, and an infection. They admitted me to debried the wound. i spent 6days in the hospital.
i've had to endure 2 surgerys, still have scars that will be their until i can get corrective surgery, i am traumarized and all this woman can tell me is to speak to her legal department!
My recovery has been long, painful and costly. The process to sue her has been long and expensive.
