I completely forgot to update! I’m about 2 weeks 3 days post op. My visit went well. Love Dr. Morales and his team! They are so nice and reassuring. I love my results already but everyone assured me I’m still extremely swollen and will get even smaller! My pain is pretty much gone. I’m not on any pain meds at all, not even over the counter. I’m also standing up completely straight, can drive and move around so my recovery has thankfully been very smooth. Will update after my next appointment!

I’m 3 days post-op! We made it through surgery thank God. Everything with surgery went well. I’ve never been put to sleep before so I was so super nervous about that but everyone was so nice! And reassuring! They gave me something right before the anesthesia and the last thing I honestly remember was telling them how old my daughter was lol! Very good experience especially for the first time ever and someone who was terrified at first. When I got out my pain was probably a 5, if that. But I also had a baby and during labor they broke my pelvic bones which I had to naturally recover from. I did this with only taking light pain meds for 2 days. The rest I endured on my own and it was an extreme pain level that left me unable to walk for 2 weeks. So in comparison to that pain, this is nothing for me. Labor cramps hurt worse than this type of pain so thank God! Don’t be fearful of the pain especially if you had a baby. Also the pain medications they do give you work very well. I was told to just take the medications anyway just in case and if it still doesn’t hurt then just switch to Tylenol. Which I’m taking now. The pain is similar to an extreme day at the gym. Which I’ve been used to gym soreness before from playing school sports and having those type of days lol. There’s also a burning pain on the stitches which feels like I scraped my knees and have that open sore burning pain. After you take pain meds it subsides substantially but overall, the pain is manageable in my opinion. My pain level at this moment is honestly a 1/10. I’m just uncomfortable but not in pain. I feel like my stomach is a bunch of cardboard taped together lol it just feels weird but it does not hurt by any means. The only pain you feel again is extreme soreness and burning. All manageable and all subsides if you stay on top of your pain meds. I understand I’m extremely swollen and most people don’t realize their results until after but I notice! Even swollen Like heck. My waist is small and my mom and fiancé noticed the drastic change as well. I’m really impressed and excited. Dr. Rolando did a really great job. Will update next week after my 1 week post op check up!

Side note: I didn’t do lab work bc I didn’t have any history of medical problems

First Surgery Ever

10/16/21: My surgery is scheduled for this Monday. I am super nervous and anxious! I’m excited as well but more nervous because I don’t want anything to go wrong. So far Dr. Morales has really reassured me that I will be fine and all of his staff has been very nice. My only concern is that they did not take blood work and extensive health evaluation during my pre-op appointment. Maybe it’s not required? Will update you all after surgery!
