WORTH IT
If you’re sitting here trying to figure out if Dr. Grawe is the “right” plastic surgeon for you, Look no further and book the consultation. I have NEVER in my life felt as comfortable in my skin as I do at 18 days post-op. My pre-op and first post-op appointment were a breeze and the team is knowledgeable and supportive. Dr. Grawe has an amazing energy to her and she truly cares about all of her patients. I drove 2.5 hours for Dr. Grawe and I’ve recommended all of my friends looking to get something done as well.

Looks good. Do you have any before pictures? I am 16 days postop for my tummy tuck and loving my results as well although my tummy still is feeling hard and swollen. Looking forward to see changes every day!

I went ahead and added pictures from my pre-op and a picture of my scar at 16 days post-op. I will say that I used a massage roller from Amazon to help with the hardness or just manually rub!

I wanted to add pre-op and a picture of my scar at 16 days post-op. I started prepping for surgery 2-3 week prior with iron pills and a lot of protein (protein shakes and bars). I have continued this through my recovery. After drains were removed I started using the silagen scar gel and it’s AMAZING for creating a protective barrier and treating your scar. Expensive- but worth it in my opinion.

Did you start the silagin scar cream after your scabs fell off? My ps uses Tegaderm scar tape on Incision which is awesome, but I wondered about scar cream from where they took out the drains. I think you need to wait until scabs fall off?
