Photos (Not in order)
I labeled my before photo and my first pre/op photo. The first was taking the next day after surgery. I had one drain. I kept my drain in for a week, and had it removed at the Emergency room, because my primary care doctor wouldn’t remove it since they did not perform the surgery. I decided to continue to follow up with a local

4 week update..
I want to apologize for not following up with an update, but I was truly going through a roller coaster experience with this tummy tuck procedure. Two weeks post op I noticed abnormal bruising and swelling. I went to the er and they referred me to a local surgeon. I went to the plastic surgeon in my town and found out that I had a hematoma and a Seroma. The plastic surgeon ended up draining my hematoma And Seroma with a needle. It did i not hurt but was more uncomfortable . He told me to continue to wear my garment and binder and the swelling would take serval weeks to months to go down . I continued to follow up with him during my fourth week..which was this week and he said it looks like the seroma has gone down (fluid) and that my hematoma would eventually go down In several weeks to months. So, I am happy that everything is looking good. You have to keep an eye on your body and make sure that the swelling isn’t abnormal. I think what brought it to my attention was the extra bruising and hard lump on the side that I noticed. I made sure every day that I paid attention to my stomach and how it was doing especially in the evening so I can know when it was not normal swelling . I have also been getting a couple massages done by my sister, so I guess that also help with some of my fluids going down. Make sure you are following the instructions of your surgeon. Everyone body is different and no one body is the same . Take it easy and get enough rest.
