I am finally getting my TT after dreaming of the date for a couple of years now. I have 4 children and am ready to get my pre-baby body back. I'm 5'5", 38 years old and 137lbs. I've always been a thin person so when I got pregnant, my stomach stretched out a lot. I have stretch marks all around my belly and a significant diastases that I want repaired. I'm also getting a BBL to get that hourglass figure! I'm scheduled for tomorrow 5/12/2020 and am pretty psyched!

Day 1 & 2
MissdreamMay 13, 2020
I am about 24 hours out of surgery and I’m starting to feel a little better. Yesterday, I couldn’t even think right because I was out of it. I couldn’t really move around. I felt really sore around my ab area, not so much my butt. I noticed my right drain collected more blood than my left. I felt very weak and nauseated every time I moved my head. I even vomited yesterday night, which hurt to do. I decided to clean my tt sutures and replace the gauze today. He did an amazing job with the cut. It’s thin and well sutured! I decided to put the binder on the outside of my pajamas which felt so much better. My butt has a lot of bruising and my lower back feels swollen. I placed a lower back pad to apply pressure with the binder. I did notice that I had two circle open wounds on each side of my hips. I’m not quite sure from what.
It was so hard to sleep. I did not know how to go about laying down because you can’t sleep on your stomach nor your back. I slept on one side and then the other but I felt my sides getting numb. I ended up getting a chair and propping pillows around it so that my butt was not touching the seat.
I’ve finally had something to eat. I didn’t have an appetite prior to and every time I stood up, I was dizzy. Now that I have something in my system I am able to stand up without feeling dizzy and I’m able to walk around slowly. Going pee felt so good. Getting a Go Girl urinal is the best investment. Keeping up with your pain management is the best way to get through the pain. I have an alarm every six hours for it.

Day 3-4
MissdreamMay 17, 2020
I went to visit the doctor for my follow up appointment, 3 days after my surgery. He said everything went well and he’s happy with the results. I am pretty surprised and love the shape he has given me. He removed my right side drain and it wasn’t bad at all and so relieving. It ending up closing with the sutures in place which was pretty amazing to see. I am still very swollen. My back is swollen, especially around my flank area where he did the lipo. I noticed the swelling was right below the binder. He asked me to wear a cotton form fitting tank tank then place the foam pads over to help with comfort and provide support under the binder, which helps.
I did take my first shower the day before my postop appointment, which my husband had to do for me. He cleaned out all my wounds and replaced my dressings.
I headed home after the Postop appointment which I was not looking forward to the drive. After about a 30 minute drive, I had to get out because my back was killing me. It took me about a good hour to figure out how I would sit down in the car for the 5 Hour Drive. I decided to go on my knees on the floor board and bend forward on the seat. I stacked up some pillows I may lean my body on them. I rearranged my body a few times during the car ride to displace the weight on my knees. We stopped about two times to stretch our legs, eat and go to the bathroom. My appetite was still small, so I was eating smaller portions.
Sleeping is still a challenge. Getting in the position is semi comfy is really hard. Sleeping on one sleeping on my side made me feel like my side was going numb because of the pressure so I constantly had to get up. Not much good sleep but the good thing is I began getting some strength back and I had more mobility.

Thank you for posting about your journey. Really helps us planing for ours.
So I read that you drove to and back 5hours is that right?

Do you suggest sitting on the floor and leaning on the seat instead. Having the same procedure and I don't want to fly I'm about 4hrs away

Yes, we drove instead of flying because I didn’t want to be limited to how I sit. I’m glad I did because there was no way I could sit right. I kneeled down the whole ride with pillows under my knees and bent forward on the seat with pillows to rest on.

I tried several and the one I loved Was the “shape concept 055“. For post op, I loved the “Fajas Colombianas Post Surgery S11”
