Rushed and Dismissive Surgeon

My experience with Dr. Orseek cost me $18,000 out-of-pocket and left me dealing with severe, unmanaged complications. Throughout my recovery, serious issues reported via MyChart were repeatedly brushed off as 'normal' until they worsened significantly. I was rushed into the operating room for a revision at just 4 weeks post-op—a timeline that felt far too soon and contributed to further wound breakdown. Appointments were consistently rushed, my questions were dismissed, and I was left to remove my own mesh tension tape at home at 3 weeks post-op, which led to discovering tissue necrosis. I was never adequately informed of the specific risks regarding the T-junction incision or the extent of the scarring. When complications escalated, I had to abandon this practice and finally receive the proper care I deserved at a dedicated wound center. I would not recommend this provider.
