Dominican Republic..Round 2 with Dr. Mota

In August 2016, I travelled to Colombia for tummy tuck with lips, bbl, breast lid with implants. The surgeon did a great job considering that I no waist and very saggy breast before my first surgery. I liked the results, but I knew right away that I would need a revision. After putting it off for over 3 years, I'm in the Dominican Republic and scheduled to have surgery November 20. I flew in on the 14th and decided to spend nights in a all inclusive resort in Samana before having surgery. It's beautiful here and I'm so glad I did. I needed a little R&R before surgery. I'm having a revision on my tummy tuck, revision on my breast lift with new implants, and a arm lift. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I'll post my Round one before and after photos. If you’re in the process of looking for a surgeon and not quite sure who to pick, I highly recommend this duo! This husband and wife surgical team are absolutely amazing. The communication is impeccable from the first time I contacted their office and continues to be just the same. Yesterday morning I had surgery. I went to the clinic got prepped spoke with the surgeons who answered all my questions before going in. I had a tummy tuck revision, breast lift, am lift, and had my facial fillers done while on the OR. My lips and check bones look great. I woke up and I was comfortably medicated in bed with my faja on. I had my first surgery in Colombia in 2016 and this experience is so much better. Dr. Mota and his wife are all about safety which I think is so important. Flying from California to the DR is a big decision, and having doctors that are skilled and care is of upmost importance.They are so caring. My experience has been smooth and anxiety free. Analis (their assistant) has been great in this process too. I am only one. Connect them you will not be disappointed.

My surgery was performed at PladticMedic. The clinic is very nice and very clean. The post surgery food was delicious! The nurses there were very helpful. I don’t speak Spanish, but many of the nurses there did. It was perfect.

Now you may be wondering where I am staying. I decided to stay at Princess recovery house and I love it here. Everyone is friendly, helpful and attentive. Being a RN, I know how important to show kind compassionate care. Princess recovery staff are all of those things and more. Nina the owner is vey caring. I asked her how and why she started a recovery house. Her story spoke of the need for safe care in the DR. She shared her desire to help women who came for surgery, to have safe medical treatment; pre and post-op. When she shared her story (I asked her why she startedI Princess recovery I knew she was the kind of person I could. I came to the DR by myself and it’s a wonderful feeling knowing some has you. She spoke from the heart. I am grateful for all that she and her staff do.
