I am super excited about my Fleur de Lis Tummy Tuck In 9 days! I'm a 50 year old mom of 3. 5'5" at 175. I have a VERY short torso.and I am thrilled to finally be able to not have a hanging apron or hear applause when I run or exercise. Almost brave enough to post pics.

Wishing you the best on your surgery and recovery. Please post pics and share your journey....I’m considering a Fleur de Lis next year.

I will post them soon. I'm just so hesitant to put them out there. Mentally, I know I want to see before/after pics to help compare my shape to other's outcome.

I totally understand. I had gastric bypass 6 years ago and lost 144 lbs..... I hate my before pics.

Congratulations on your weight loss! This is part of the weight loss journey for me. I too have lost weight and now hoping this will allow me to continue my journey a healthier, happier person.

Thank you. Congratulations on yours as well. My surgeon has been trying to get me to do this procedure for 5 years. I’ve been scared, but my plan is to get rid of this extra skin next year. It will definitely change the way my body looks...in and out of clothes. I think you’ll enjoy your results.

I've got my FDL in 15 days! Hope everything goes smoothly for you, feel free to reach out if you wanna chat about surgeries! So excited for you :)!
November 9, 2019
I just can't believe that next week at this time I will be on the flat side! The excitement is over the top!
November 10, 2019
Hopefully, BOTH of us will have great outcomes! Best wishes for you. Just 4 days away now.

So soon!! I think life without a big blob hanging over the crotch is going to be pretty amazing haha. Are they doing any lipo on you with the surgery?
November 10, 2019
Yes, he will be doing lipo. I just don't know to what extent. I know he will do some contouring on the flanks, maybe upper thighs, and back area. I really trust him. He did my breast reduction back in 2004. My scars healed well and are placed beautifully.
November 10, 2019
That's great you found someone you trust. I'm also having lipo with my surgery, she said on the flanks but I really don't know what she's going to do either or how it's going to contour me lol. I'm kinda nervous about the lipo, it seems like something that's going to make you very sore and bruised! I've never had any surgery so I feel a little in the dark!

Secret, secret...I’ve got a secret!

To say that nerves are kicking in is an understatement! I am just counting down the hours. Late tonight, I will be loading my before pics, so when I wake up, if I can even get any sleep tonight, I’ll be on my way to the flat side.

OMG...Even though I didn’t tell people what exactly I’m doing, people are just SUPER nosy!!!! Props to the youtubers, and those that are very open about the process. I thought I was a pretty open person, but the older I get the more private I become.

I appreciate all the prayers for tomorrow! Bless those surgeons’s hands!

Doc James “Sam” Baldwin took such good. Are of me! I’m not in too much pain. I wonder what will be like tomorrow. As promised, I would post before pics, for some reason i can’t find them. Doing good with the drains.

Woohoo you did it!!! How are you feeling today?
November 16, 2019
I feel pretty good. Keeping up with my pain meds. Getting up to walk around the house every couple of hours. Getting out of the recliner is the most difficult thing. During surgery they put in a catheter. The burning last night and today was the worst! My hubby got me some otc meds. Thankful they started kicking in pretty quickly. I keep looking down and I expect to see a big lower abdomen. It's not there! Yes!!! It almost seems surreal.
November 16, 2019
That's amazing!! So happy for you :) I saw you posted some before shots and my tummy is quite similar so I can't wait to see the binder reveal if you choose to share haha. How do the drains feel?
November 16, 2019
The drains are okay. I know everyone hates them. They don't slow my walking. I just have a pillow over my abdomen to keep things more secure from my little lap dog.
November 16, 2019
Congratulations on your surgery. I hope you have a great recovery.
November 16, 2019
Thank you! I almost can't believe it has happened. Tuesday will not come soon enough. That's when I get to take the binder off.
November 16, 2019
I know you’re excited to get a glimpse
November 17, 2019
