8 Months Out Post Tummy Tuck

WORTH IT
I am updating my journey from having a Tummy Tuck and breast lift in December of 2019. I am still very happy with the results and have stopped wearing my compression garment finally. With that change I notice that I get very tight in the evenings and slight swelling as expected for the first year. To help with that I eat very little salt and carbs. I eat a lot of veggies and little meat to help maintain my nutrition. I have to maintain focus on this because it is so easy turning to junk eating when I am stressed. However, with my sleeve 2 years ago, I really watch the poor nutrition and eating habits so I can try and stay healthy.
Some other things I notice is that I have to try and stretch to help with the constant tightness but I will see if that tightness change eventually. I am enjoying getting in clothes and have to remind myself to not shy away from certain clothing because I now have a flat tummy. The psychological change is hard.

6 Weeks Post-op

Kind2842
I am going on week 6 post op and healing pretty good. I am still trying to get use to the tightening that occurs at the end of the day. It is more annoying than anything. I have been back to work and able to stay a whole day now so stamina is getting back. I see the doctor next week and hope she will tell me that I can increase the exercise level. I really can't wait to start lifting weights because my muscles are shrinking.

Made the 30 day Mark

Kind2842
I am thirty days from date of my surgery (12/3/19). Things are still progressing. I am starting to move more and I experience tightness more in the evenings. I assume this is because of the internal swelling that occurs. I still have numbness and don't really have feeling. When I touch the abdomen to high upper thigh areas; it just feels like pressure and not true feelings. So far the incision is healing and looking great. I am just glad to be back to work half days so I don't have to concentrate totally on the healing process. I will provide updated photos from my next doctor's visit on 1/27. I can't wait to get back to a full cardio workout. Energy is still low and so is my appetite. I don't know if anyone else lost their appetite the first month. Maybe that will pick up soon.

Hi Queenlove83, I see the doctor on the 24th and I will update pictures then. Unfortunately, when I try to do selfies, they aren't as vivid enough to post. Stay tuned.
