Hi all!
After saving for a long time I decided to go for the surgery.
I initially wanted a Lipo and BB lift but surgeon Dr Perera convinced me to do a TT with Lipo.
Surgery went ok and recovery was painful but I managed throughout.
My issue now is I have NO BELLY BUTTON!
After 1 month post Surgery, 2 months etc I kept asking him what’s going on and I was asked to wait. After 3 months he agreed to fix it under local but still thought I should wait.
It’s 6 months post TT and he wants to do a full record toon which will cost a fortune.
Please advise.
Is this normal? What are my available options?

That is NOT normal . I'm sorry . Make him fix it or report him to the medical board.

This is the second doctor wanting to charge out the wahzoo to fix their errors. Yes, surgeries can have atypical results but this is unacceptable.

Ok, because I have healing issues with my own belly button post surgery right now I know all too well what you're going through :(. Any reputable doctor would not make you pay a dime to do any revisions for fixing that. I have necrosis of mine (not my docs fault but just sadly happened) and he assured me once healed he will do the revision 100 % free! (Of course my PS does any and all revisions free the first year anyway which is one reason I went with him).
I don't want to sound harsh but he shouldn't be charging you at all for what he's done to yours and I think your natural belly button looked better before so you might be better off going with a different surgeon anyway with what he's done and how he's treated you since your procedure :(. I hope it all works out for you and sorry this happened and you get your pretty new belly button soon (btw, the rest of your TT looks great so sure once your BB is fixed you'll be perfect!)
