Had my one year visit today with my plastic surgeon. Definitely was a journey and still is I still feel my nerves waking up on my left side I can’t lay on it for a long period of time everything kind of gets numb. But I’m able to finally do sit ups and I bought me a peloton bike so I’m cycling I’m toning everything up. One thing that I have learned about this journey is just because I get a tummy tuck doesn’t mean the weights going to go does it mean I’m going to have the ideal body that I want. Definitely have to work at carving your body into what you want once that big flesh is gone. I don’t regret it one bit

Thanks for sharing your photos and recovery. I never comment on these things but wanted you to know I appreciated seeing and hearing about the rough patches. I'm 5 weeks post-op with my TT and fat graft to breasts. No hiccups yet and anxious to start exercising but I'm waiting one more week. My surgeon encouraged me to walk a little bit from day one to prevent blood clots which I need to kick up a notch. Anyway, you look fabulous!!!

Thank you, yes start walking, please listen to your body dont over due it. You could do more harm pushing your body when it's telling you stop. I just had my six month check up in December and I am now able to actually do is sit up and to do full exercise even way after I got my medical release so just listen to your body and good luck

6 month update
Ok just had my 6 month check with my plastic surgeon. In my mind I thought at six months I would have these banging ass abs. I would be able to jump back into the gym and pick up post operation. I was totally wrong ????. I was able to do a full sit up with it feeling right and comfortable. Core exercises has been null n void up until now and it me easing into it. The only thing that I have been able to do is walk and jog.
Now let me inform you of what I’ve gone through literally after I got my medical clearance from the doctor at three months. I had slipped and fallen at a McDonald’s went airborne fell on my left side and hit my head. The selling and Inflammation was bad. So I know that Definitely Prolonged the healing process. The good thing is I had no water retention in my stomach afterwards . Well that information given everything is healing fine everything has closed up my blister I did get a small keloid and my skin has never had keloids.

I’m so sorry you slipped and fell!!! I’m 1 week and 2 days post op from Tummy Tuck and explant surgery and I’m very fearful of falling or even sneezing!!! Lol coughing is also awful. Was watching a Chris Rock stand up show and laughed too hard and that hurt!!! This surgery is not for the weak! I can’t imagine doing a stomach crunch, but hope lots are in my future, you’re looking fantastic! Great belly button!!

Thank you so much you got this yes the surgery definitely is not for the weak or weak minded. I am coming up to two years and I still feel shocks in my stomach from my nerves . Sometimes they hurt and that’s when I do crunches but a tummy tuck is definitely a shock to the body
