I have been back at work for a couple weeks now and am doing great. I will say that I have had to buy mutiple different types of spanx. Depending on what I'm doing, some of them can get uncomfortable. I also had to go out and buy a large last week and now a medium this week. I am also being forced to buy clothes because although I am only 5 weeks post, my clothes are too big. I still have bad days though like today. I have been so swollen I could hardly get around without something hurting. I dont recall doing anything to cause it but we will see tomorrow.

On Thursday I had started draining from my incision which was surprising. I went into the office and was told it was just drainage and nothing to worry about. It has since stopped and my incision is looking very good and less red. I go back to work this week and finally feel like I can actually handle it okay now. I feel rather normal now other than swelling.

This is promising to read. I plan to return to work 2 weeks post, but I will be working from home. I may try to return sooner if I am up to it, but we will see.

Sorry for the delayed response. Getting the drain out wasn't too bad. It is very quick but you do get a sharp burning pain.

My fluid output in my drain has been less than 20 cc since Friday. I'll call to make my appointment on Monday to get it out finally. Today I noticed less swelling and the bruising is starting to go away. I can see a figure forming instead of a bunch of swelling now.
