WORTH IT
I have 74 days before my tummy tuck. I would love to have it sooner, but I’m not going to push it because I want to lose some weigh. Thirty pounds would be awesome. I want to make sure I get the best results and I don’t want to worry about losing more weight after my surgery. The only thing I want to worry about is my recovery and possibly getting a 6 pack, once I’m cleared to workout again.

You're going to have an awesome result with Dr. Song! Good luck on your weight loss journey prior to surgery. It will help with your finals result for sure. I wish I had been able to lose more prior to mine but covid wouldn't let me be great. Lol

Thank you. I’m trying to shed my COVID weight plus some. I need to stay focused. I just downloaded a countdown app/widget for my home screen , fingers crossed.

Hi! I'm on the same journey. I'm 42 days away from my TT. Trying to loose a few pounds too. I'm going strictly veggies, soup, protein and water. No carbs or sugar. Plus intermittent fasting. I'm also going to work on my core now, more abdominal exercises. I've heard good things about keto as well.

I started intermittent fasting today. I have had some good weight loss in the past with it. But I’ll admit, it seems a little bit harder this time around. Last time I jumped head-first into 16:8. This time I’m having a hard time making it through 12 hours.

Hi Ladies! I am on the same journey. Mine is 195 days away and I was wanting it sooner, but had the same thought of going ahead and trying to lose some weight. I can only maintain a super strict diet for so long, so I pace myself. I think starting with intermittent fasting is good. I do the 16:8, but do what works best for you and then begin cutting back on things. I know portion control and lots of water works great for me.

I will definitely be following your journey…You got this!

Hi! I’m doing 20:4 now. It was hard at first, but I had to keep telling myself it will be worth it in the end. I’ve also been walking and swimming 6 days a week. I’m doing everything in my power to get close to my ideal weight before the surgery, so that I will have the best results. The last thing I want to do is still have a ton of weight to lose after my TT. Not only results, but I want to be in the best shape to recover. I have a little over a month to go; time is flying!

Sorry, I wasn’t so diligent about updating my weight loss. However, I did lose 17 lbs. I’ve really worked my but off. I walked 6 miles almost everyday, with the exception of Sundays. I also swam twice a week and did Zumba twice a week. As far as my diet, I cut back to 1200 calories per day and burn on average 2000 calories per day. This week, I cut back to 1000 calories and plan to juice until my pre-op, next week. During this week, I will probably cut back on the exercising and have one super healthy meal a day. I’m juicing beets, pineapples, spinach, oranges, ginger, and turmeric. So, I will juice and drink water all day and eat one small healthy meal before 6:00pm. And I plan to get plenty of rest and sleep; don’t want to tax my body too much. Oh yeah, also taking multivitamins.

I purchased a few supplies for post-op care, but don’t want to over do it. Any suggestions? I already have Juven, foams, hibclens, pads for incision, loose fitting open in front dress, robe, and slide on shoes.

Hi there..firstly congratulations on your weight loss and upcoming surgery. I got a tummy tuck with muscle repair on May 12, 2021. I found a lot of the items I purchased was unnecessary

I agree this tash. A lot of the things I bought ahead of time I didn't need at all. My surgeon gave me a "goodie bag" of medical supplies to take home with me after the surgery and then gave me even more at my first post op.

One thing I have used a lot is this grabby stick things! You wont be able to get anything up off the floor so this was a life saver for me.
