It took me while to gather up the courage to write this. I had surgery with Dr. Zuckerman in June of 2020 for tummy tuck and BBL (buttock augmentation with fat transfer.). At first Dr. Zuckerman appeared personable and optimistic about my expectations. This was before I made my commitment and paid a small fortune for my procedure. My tummy tuck ended up leaving me with a shelf that was even more prominent than the original hanging skin that I wanted to remove. Dr. Zuckerman blamed it on swelling and my own body. My butt seemed to be even more of an upside down triangle shape as it was prior to surgery but now it was just bigger. I did not have the shape that I was hoping to achieve. In November 2020 Dr. Zuckerman performed revision surgery on me. During the revision the tummy tuck scar was pulled down and more fat was liposuctioned from my sides to add to my butt. I should have prefaced this by saying that Dr. Zuckerman was not very eager to do a revision on me. He kept insisting that I look great and so much better than before. I left the office crying on multiple occasions. It's almost as if I paid close to $25,000 for fixing some thing that was wrong with me when actually I paid that money to look the way I want. There was nothing wrong with me other than personal insecurities and unhappiness with my body. This is why we pay plastic surgeons these amounts of money. I believe that there are certain expectations to be had. After my revision I was still left with lumps of fat over my tummy tuck scar and unevenness on the sides which Dr. Zuckerman agreed to liposuction three months following my revision. Right now my sides are still uneven and my butt has a dent on one side which makes me even more insecure than I previously was. The shape also has somewhat of an ant deformity, like my ass is now independent from the rest of me, it just doesn't flow into my body properly. When I voiced my concerns to Dr. Zuckerman he said that there is nothing he can do and offered me another $6000 worth of Sculptra injections to fill in the dent. He also reminded me of all the free work he did after my initial surgery. I found this to be highly offensive as his policy clearly states that revision will be covered at his cost. I don't believe that a reminder of his free time spent on my results was helpful to his character, especially when the end result is still lacking. He also repetitively criticized me for "chasing perfection". I understand that not everyone can have an ideal result but I believe $25k should at least pay for some effort on the surgeon's part. I still have plenty of fat to liposuction and try to fix that large dent in my butt but I simply no longer trust Dr. Zuckerman to do it right. I am posting pictures and whoever reads this can be the judge. I do want to thank Nafijah for her personable character and support.

I understand your concerns, it is not unreasonable to expect better for the amount of money that you paid. The tummy tuck revision is better, however there is definite unevenness on the hips.Hopefully you can treat the scars from the tummy tuck so that you can wear bikinis or panties without the scars being so visible.

Thank you. Even with revision I doubt there will be any correction possible to the hip scars but I'll make the best of it.

I'm sorry. It's really horrible when doctors make you feel inadequate and responsible for bad results and have zero interest in helping correct the problem. We put our trust in them and look forward to a good outcome. I wish you the best.

Thanks! Maybe all things happen for a reason and I have a better base for any possible future surgery now.

I hate that the doctor just brushed you off like that. Did he have great reviews? Is that why you chose him? He definitely isn't standing by his word. The scar will fade but another option would be to cover it with a tat. I would not trust him to do a revision either. Hopefully, you find a great doc that can help you.

Thank you for the support! Yes he seemed to have great reviews and a good showcase on Instagram but we all know that's just a few selected picks from the overall pool. I wold think a plastic surgeon's patient is their advertisement and reputation so they would try to do everything possible to fix any errors. I was made to feel like none of what happened was his fault. He also tried to convince me that I look good and should be happy. When I asked "what if I was a new patient and I came in like this saying that I am not happy with prior doctor results, wold you tell me to go away?" He got really offended by that and told me it's not fair to ask him this. I also hope that once m ready I will find someone who can help.

I absolutely see why you're unhappy with your results regardless of him doing the revision. He should not be proud of this work and honestly should give your money back if he has any kind of character at all. I'm so sorry this happened and can only hope your scars and unevenness will fade and you can find a competent surgeon who may be able to fix what this other surgeon clearly botched on you :(

Thank you for your kind words. I will be researching a lot more thoroughly in the future.
