Hi Ladies!
I have missed all of You and hope You are all doing well! I will make sure read and catch up with your updates! :)
I am almost 3 months post op ( on the 21st will be 3 months exactly ). I feel pretty good overall, I still sometimes get lower tummy swelling if I overdo it or eat some heavy foods. Doc said that is normal and can last up to 6 months. My lower tummy skin feels numb, so that feels interesting! Otherwise, my scar is flat, but still red ( fading away slowly ). I have no regrets and would do this procedure over and over! My tummy is improving every day, and I can see my abs more and more every day! :)
I started working out at home due to our gyms being closed. My ab muscles get tired easily when working out, but it feels great at the same time - feels like they are actually doing something vs before, I could do abs for a long time, and I didn't see any results lol.
During my post op the other day, I also had my preoperative consultation/exam for the upcoming breast augmentation, as well as liposuction. I originally thought that my upcoming surgery will be postponed as some states banned elective surgeries at the moment. When I asked, they said that North Dakota didn't ban them yet. Maybe because these are private practices with their own operative rooms not connected to the hospitals, so patients do not mingle with hospital patients so to speak? Not sure really, just my theory.
When I originally had my tummy tuck and breast lift on January 21st, 2020, my doc said that he wants me to wait 3 months for the breast pocket to heal before placing implants so that is why they scheduled my surgery for April 21st.
I chose silicone smooth implants. Before the breast lift, my boobs were visibly uneven and saggy. After the breast lift they are perky, and to me they look very even, although Dr. Becker said that the right is still slightly bigger than the left one ( I don't honestly see it, but if he says it is , it must be? )
I chose 500cc silicone smooth round implants under the muscle. Due to one being slightly larger, he will put 475 ccs into my right breast, and 500cc into my left, this way they are even. :)
I am so excited to actually have boobs for the first time! I have been wanting larger boobs for as long as I can remember!
I also added inner and outter smart liposuction, lipo of the love handles and fat injection to the hip dips.
Smart lipo: - it is a liposuction followed by a laser that heats up the skin to tighten it. Dr Becker said our outter thigh skin is thick and we usually do not have laxity problems there, but inner thigh skin is very delicate and can often produce unwated laxity when fat is removed. That is why he uses the laser afterwards to tighten the skin.
He will help me achieve more hourglass figure by removing some more of the love handles fat ( he removed some during the tummy tuck too ), and using that/thigh fat, to fill in my hip dips.
Total cost for the breast augmentation: $5,900
Cost for the lipo procedures ( inner/outter thighs, love handles, and hip dip fat injections ) $9,100
I am currently 133.8 lbs. I plan to hopefully loose another 3-5 lbs before the 21st. He didn't tell me I need to loose it, but I figured the more I loose, he will be able to contour me better.
I will post some implant sizer photos soon, here are my tummy photos from today.
Cannot wait to catch up with you all! :) Hope you are all staying healthy and happy!!! :) :) :)

Thank You so much for the wonderful wishes and well words!!! I will make sure to split the procedures and will work on taking all the before/after for each procedure so that it is easier that way to track the progress. I am not nervous of the surgery but I hate sleeping on my back. And I have to for at least 3 weeks, cannot "cheat" and sleep on the sides do to the hip dip fat injections. The fat is still moldable early on so I don't want to mess with whatever contour he makes. I am ready to be over with it so that I can sleep on my sides again haha!:):):)

OMG you look amazing!!!!! So I too have been waiting forever to have my TT with lipo in arms & full back lipo as well finally done and I’m scared/thrilled !!!!! I have a few questions maybe you can help ease my mind with. How long did you have you drainage tubes? Liquid diet for how many days? When did you start to feel you can stand up straight ? Also I have a toddler when we’re you able to lift anything? How long did you wait to go back to the gym? Omg I have sooo sooooo many questions if you don’t answer I understand. Your results look wonderful! Take care

One Month Post Op

Hi Everyone! :)
Yesterday was my full month post op! I can fully stand up straight most of the time unless I really overdo it and get tired. I still have swelling but it is going down ( breast swelling is completely down, just tummy swelling remains ). I am starting to see more and more abs each day, my waist is shaping up nicely. :) I had two sutures stuck in my belly button under my scabs, but they came out this past week. Just a little bit of scabbing there, but it is going away, and the belly button is opening up. Mine is taking a lot longer to open up compared to some ladies' on here, but the doc said everyone heals differently. I am overjoyed even with the belly button like this as my old one was all wrinkled and saggy after pregnancies. It can only get better from here! :)
Since I am not fully done healing, I decided to post 11 days post op and 30 days post op photos to show the swelling difference. I will post before surgery and after photos when fully healed of course.
Since the surgery I have lost 6 lbs, 7 more lbs to go and I will be at my weight goal. I am not allowed to exercise for 2 more weeks, so the weight is coming off slower but still coming off thankfully. I am so excited to be able to exercise again, I miss it!
Silicone scar tape works wonders and I highly recommend it! I have only been using it for a few days so far and can notice a dramatic difference - it works if you have new or old scars it says. Scars are more flat and soft, I will definitely keep using it.
My ladies are nice and perky, although I won't lie, I cannot wait to get them enlarged in April! I am excited to own a two piece bathing suit and not be embarrassed walking around for the first time! :)
As far as my confidence - I thought I was confident before, but it truly cannot come even remotely close to the self confidence I have now. When you feel comfortable in your own skin - it truly shows! You radiate from the inside so to speak. Confidence is the sexiest trait in anyone I think!
Hope you are all doing great! I cannot wait to see everyone's update pics! :) :) :)

Oh my goodness!! Look at you!!!! I'm so happy for you and your AMAZING results! Are you just not thrilled beyond belief?! You've worked hard for this so it's well deserved. So you are weighing yourself? I'm super scared to since my nurse told me to throw away the scale for the next six months?! But that seems a little long. When did you bring the scale out? And this might seem silly but I realized since I got implants my weight might go up - just not sure how much 2 255cc's weights:)). I love how you talk about confidence. I can't wait to feel like that too. Have you had any days where you feel like you've regressed a little? I've heard that's common. Keep up the amazing work my friend!!
User Avatar
February 23, 2020
Hi Shelly! My doc reccomended not weighing myself for a few weeks due to swelling but of course I didnt listen to that part lol. We rented an Air b n b home for the surgery and we didnt have a scale there, I came home on 2 day post op. And of course the first thing I did upon coming home is weight myself haha! I went into surgery at 140.5lbs and I came out 2 days later at 145 lbs. It was discouraging to see it go up like that but I knew it was due to swelling. I weight myself every day since, multiple times a day. I really feel it makes me get a better grasp if some foods make me swell more than others and it keeps me in check from overeating I think. I am sure after I get my implants my weight will increase but that is a good kind of increase ;) How you feel is much more important than the scale number of course, but it sure feels great when it is going down and you feel great ;):):)

Some days I feel like I regress a little, and swell more than others. My doc said it is completely normal and to be expected. I never knew my tummy had such an impact on my confidence but getting the plastic surgery was the best thing for me to regain my old life and old confidence back. As a matter of fact my tummy never looked this great, so I am more confident than ever I think. Or should I say I will be after breast implants lol. Did your shirt size change after implants? I need to get new clothing, not sure shall I go up the size in anticipation of implants or stay the same Haha. Cannot wait to see more of your pics, looking great!!!:):):)

I also wanted to say, thank you so much for such compliments!!! I greatly appreciate them!!! It is so nice once the swelling goes down enough when we can actually finally start seeing results. I still have some tummy uneaveness due to swelling but doc said that is completely normal and will resolve with time. It seems patience is our best virtue with plastic surgery and it is tough sometimes as I am probably the least patient person haha, but I have learned I have to trust the process and most importantly let my body heal.:):):)
February 26, 2020
Well of course I started weighing myself too now:). I'm the exact same weight as the day of. Last night I started to get a little anxiety about gaining weight and ruining my results. I know a woman who had this done and regretted it because she became unmotivated to eat healthy and gained it all back. Eek! So I feel you about the overeating concern. I love how confident you are!! I haven't gotten that "result" yet. But you're giving me hope. I wore really baggy clothes most of the time to hide my tummy so my shirt size will go down hopefully:). And my breasts haven't dropped or fluffed yet. I will say, be super duper specific about what you want your boobs to look like. Do you want under or over the muscle, textured or not, high or moderate profile, mesh or no mesh, etc. I probably should have paid more attention to this area of my surgery. If anything, I would have gone smaller (and I only got 255's). I just like the way my clothes hang when my breasts are a C cup. And of course now, all I do is watch movies and look at Women’s boobs to see how mine compare:):). Excited to see how you're progressing my friend!

Could you go up and downstairs after surgery ? Thanks

Thank You so much Eileen, I greatly appreciate the amazing compliments! Our home has stairs and I was forced to walk up and down it so to speak. We rented an air b n b after surgery so I came home on the 2nd day post op. I hahe been going up and down the stairs from 3 days post op and on :) At first slower, but 2 weeks post op just like before :):):).

Girl you look awesome!!! Congrats on hitting the one month mark and being that much closer to your goal weight! I weighed myself at 2 dpo also and was up like 7-8lbs! Crazy what swelling does. Since then I am just sticking with a weekly weigh in and am now a pound below my pre-op weight at 19 dpo. I bet you are so excited to get your new boobs! You are doing awesome and I appreciate you posting your updates. I can't wait to start silicone sheets myself!
User Avatar
February 25, 2020
Thank you so much, you are doing fantastic yourself too woohoo!!!:):):) Let me know how silicone sheets work for you! First time I put them on I did it by the instruction manual, removing them each time I shower. They are sticky so will stick again but are so rubbery that it is easy to roll them and then you cannot unroll them and then have to toss them out. My girlfriend that had a TT several months ago said she just showered with them as well until they fell off so I will try and do that. I will shower with them and see how long it takes them to fall out.:):):) The first time I got 5 days out of the pack not because they lost their stickiness but because I would roll them and couldnt get them flat again. We will see how long these last with showering? Cannot wait to see more of your pics!!! Looking and healing great so far!!! :):):)

25 days Post Op & Body Skincare Routine

User Avatar
tiusa551
Hi Everyone!
I have been so busy at work ( doing it overboard of course, but that's me it seems ) that I haven't posted an update in almost 10 days!
This is me today, 25 days post op. :) I feel better and better each day, my belly button is opening more. I think I have two little stitches still stuck in it, but they have little scabs over them. I tried picking at them but my belly button started beading so I will just leave it alone until my post op on the 24th.
I finally started putting the silicone scar sheets and silicone cream on my tummy scar and majority of my boob scars ( I still have 2 scabs left on my boobs, but they are shrinking each day ). I have only worn silicone sheets for about 4 days now and the difference in scar texture and smoothness is incredible! I will make sure to post side by side before and afters of it all in a few days, when it is my month.
Do any of you feel their tummy tighten randomly? I would describe it like Braxton Hicks contractions. My doc says it is normal, but it always feels weird. I always hope I am not breaking something inside. :O
What do you do for your body skincare? Supposedly you have to remove these particular scar sheets every time you shower, and then reapply. They are good for up to 12 uses each ( although my friend would just shower with them ). After drying up. I put biooil over my tummy and boobs and then use the rotating hot cold ( warm function ) for the scars. I apply Medix cream on the plate and just massage it in followed by massaging in the silicone cream. I find that bio oil makes my skin so slippery that then the silicone tape won't stick to it well and we don't want that haha.
At night I put Maroccan oil night body serum on the rest of my body including the exposed tummy/boob area. Maroccan oil night serum is very expensive but it makes your skin luxuriously soft! The scent is great and is thick, so a little big goes a long way.
I am still 137 lbs. After surgery I was 140lbs. Now that I still cannot go to the gym I find that I am loosing weight more slowly. I will have to restart Almased shake, I have 10 more lbs to go! Almost there!
Cannot wait to see side by side of my photos from after I got out of the surgery and see if I see improvement ( it seems like I am improving in my head lol ).
I still walk slouched sometimes, especially towards the end of the day. As I get tired, I start to slouch. Doc said it is normal, does anyone else do it? He said the slouchiness when tired should go away soon...:) :) :)
Hope you are all doing well!!! :) :) :)

Look at you!!! Huge difference from your 16 day update! You are alot less swollen and alot more flat! Look at those hipbones :) I enjoyed reading about your skin care routine. I have started thinking about what I will do when it comes time, but being 11 dpo I have a couple weeks to go. You seem to have recovered very nicely and transitioned right back into life easily! I still have over 2 weeks left until I have to return to work so luckily I still have time to get myself together. You look great though and seem to be doing very well with your weight loss!
February 16, 2020
By the way, are you still wearing a compression garmet? If so what kind? I just transitioned from my binder to a firm compression tank but curious what others are doing.
User Avatar
February 16, 2020
HI Nicunurse, thank you so much for the wonderful comments!!! :):):) For the binder, my doc didnt want me wearing and compression garments for the first 3 weeks so I (aside from trying my old one twice I had laying around) never wore it. He doesnt want his patients to wear them for several weeks but then he says it is ok to wear a faja or spanx type garment if you feel you need support. I just started wearing my faja about 4 days ago when I overdo it towards the evening. I dont know if it makes any difference or not, I like to think it does?, but my muscles are honestly sore if I overdo it until I get a good night of rest. Maybe they would be even more sore without a faja? How about you, how do you feel with your compression tank? But yes. For the first 3 weeks I wore nothing. Some docs have different techniques, it is always so interesting that almost no doc is the same haha. ):):)
February 16, 2020
Nicnurse which compression tank do you have ? Thanks
February 16, 2020
Tiusa do you think if you would have loss less before surgery you would have had the same results ?? We were pretty much the same height and weight however I won’t be your finally post op weight before my surgery 2/28 So.... I’m wondering if I go in still needing to lose 15 if I lose that after surgery - will I have a sagging stomach ? Only have two weeks left to lose and I don’t want to be weak before surgery . But it seems the past couple of weeks I have only maintained due to not eating enough I think died this make sense ? :)
February 16, 2020
How interesting that he didn't have you wear one! I wonder if its to promote good healing (some people squeeze themselves to death and restrict their blood flow ha ha). My doc doesn't really believe in them, he said I could come out of my binder whenever I felt I could walk unsupported. A friend of mine had a TT a couple days after me and her doc is regimented on the stages of compression so I kinda followed what he told her and the choice for right now were spanx shorts or spanks undies up to the ribcage or a firm compresson tank. I figured the tank would be easiest to go to the bathroom with. I def feel sore in it, but Ilike that I don't have to wear a bra with it and it goes up under my armpits to help shape that area I had lipo'ed as well. Whatever you are doing is working! I know a former patient of my doc that never wore one and her tummy is flat as a board. Who knows what the right answer is lol
February 16, 2020
Hi Eileen! They are the Maidenform shapewear compression tanks with the built in bra. I got a small and they are def firm and fit like a glove, you step into them and then pull them up. I found them at Kohl's.
User Avatar
February 16, 2020
Yes exactly that! He said that patients tend to squeeze too tight which can restrict blood flow and lead to blood clots or the lack of oxygen at the surgical site can promote tissue around the scars dying off. :O Some doctors will have their patients on blood thinners after surgery due to that reason. In his mind it just brings more trouble than it is worth. When I tried it two times early on I felt more supported to walk more upright but quickly took it off as for some reason it was leaving impressions in my skin. Doc says impressions from garments can become permanent if you repeatedly do it while healing. So now one spanx garment I wear inside out so the seams dont indent my skin lol. And my other faja is seamless. I should try wearing it one day from morning to evening and see if I feel any different than without it or when I put it just when I overdo it. But yes, most of his patients are flat as a board without any garments. Swelling goes down eventually, so we will all be looking sexy. Yes the tank sounds so convenient!!! Do you mind sharing the brand? Thank you!!!:):):)
User Avatar
February 16, 2020
I just read you left a brand name haha! Will look them up! And I realized I somehow forgot to put in the review that I use hot and cold vibrating massager * to massage the creams in. Gentle vibration should help with swelling (supposedly) and break up the car tissue so the scar is more flat. Got the massager on Amazon for less than $30!:):):)
User Avatar
February 16, 2020
Hi Eilleen! Are you having liposuction along with your TT? The doc told me at my consultation that I will have considerable improvement regardless if I loose weight or not but that my results will be more "wow" (his words) if I lost a few pounds. Liposuction of the flanks helps sculpt you, and I had SIGNIFICANT love handles lol. f your final weight goal is to loose 15lbs only it shouldn't affect your final results much or at all, some docs say it can only enhance them. If you loose a significant amount of weight, some doc say over 15% of your weight, that that will affect the results and one may need to have excess skin removal afterwards. I was 15lbs off from my weight goal (afternloosing weight for surgery) and now with 5 lbs down I only see more abs aka my results are even better! Looking forward to loosing these last 10 lbs.

My fear was also being weak before surgery, that is why I was doing that liquid diet Almased shake. It has everything to keep your metabolism going and you wont feel weak. But it is mostly mentally tough as liquid diet isn't quite fun for as you cannot chew much for a few days. The closer you can get to your goal weight it is better he says, but not necessarily necessary if that makes sense.:)
February 16, 2020
Awesome! Thats a good idea! I have been massaging with my soap over the hard spots in the shower under the warm water to help break some spots up and then when I get out, I massage again with my arnica cream and I can def tell a difference. Isn't it crazy that garmets could cause permanent indentions!! I feel I have made some progress this week but I tend to see a huge difference in people on here around that 4 week mark so I just need to stay patient!
User Avatar
February 16, 2020
Yes me too! I really noticed drastic improvement after week 3 so around 4,5 weeks for the ladies! I am going to a lymphatic massage soon and the massage therapist reccomended breaking up the scar tissue with the massage like you are doing or a vibrating massager. I definitely feel it is working! The doc says if using the vibrating massager to go over the tummy, boobs, lipo spots too as that will gently shake it and help with swelling. Sure hope it is working, I started using it 3 weeks post op.:)
February 16, 2020
Great info to know and makes me look forward to the next few weeks! I just told my husband that while anytime off work should be enjoyable, that I really pray these last two weeks off work will be alot more enoyable since I can do more. I am going for a lymphatic massage on the 24th also!
User Avatar
February 16, 2020
Wow awesome! Cannot wait to hear your experience too! Sure hope we will feel great!!! :D :) :) Are you able to stand upright? My friend was able to stand upright after 5 days. Me, it took me good 2 weeks and even now when I overdo it I have to bend a little bit lol, as everything still feels so tight. Apparently with some patients it takes over a month to be able to stand upright 100% of the time. I am looking forward to the gym and strengthening lower back muscles lol.
February 16, 2020
I heard it does wonders post-op! I will be interested to see what they recommend as like a treatment plan (like so many per month or whatever) to enhance the results. I would say in the past day or two I have def been standing more upright. I do hunch as the day goes on but I feel like I am doing good. My friends PS recommended putting your heels against the wall and trying to press your shoulders back to stand straight 10 secs at a time for as many times a day as possible so I have been doing that and I feel it has helped. Not gonna lie, I feel like my incision is just gonna rip open sometimes the longer I stand straight but I know its good too for my scar tissue to start stretching so I recover better. According to others that are a few days behind me, they say I am doing way more than they can so that makes me feel good! And girl yes, the gym and working out!!! My butt has gotten flat from all the sitting I swear and I am def losing tone. I cannot wait to gain some muscle back!
User Avatar
February 17, 2020
Thank You so much for the heels to wall shoulder tip too, I started doing it as soon as you told me and will continue to do so!:):):) Haha me too, I feel like I am loosing tone so I started researching can we at least do squats 3 or 4 weeks post op? It said best to wait till 6 weeks (4 is for light cardio he says). We recently saw 2 twins that so 2,000 squats a day and their butts are truly phenomenal. They didnt mention having any plastic surgery but that their butts increased in size due to 2000 squats a day. :O And here I thought I was doing great with 200 per day LOL. :):):)
February 18, 2020
Yes thanks!! I am just at a stand still these last two weeks ! I’ve been freaking out because I never really
had a problem loosing if I stuck to a plan. Now no matter what when I feel like it really counts the scale just don’t budge. I have been really upset about it
In some ways I wish I could postpone to lose more but in another way I have been waiting fir this day and have been planning for it. Not to mention the stress of a family trip internationally and I’m worried I won’t be healed and myself by then. The trip is in May. I just don’t know what to do. I have my pre- op appt PS surgeon today
February 18, 2020
I know everyone has probably mentioned this before but what is the best compression garment to wear after TT and lipo?? Thanks
February 18, 2020
Eileen, I don't think there is a right answer. Your PS will put you in what he thinks is best. Some surgeons don't recommend any, some recommend very limited, and some have full stages of garmet recommendations. You will wake up in the one they want you in and from there he will advise you on the next steps. Being on RS has made me especially aware of how big the variations in CG recommendatons are!
User Avatar
February 18, 2020
How did your preop go? Per my surgeon, weight loss of around 30 lbs should affect the results much. If you knew you want to loose more than that, then you may want to wait a bit, but if not, I would just go ahead, although that is me personally of course. Did you try the liquid diet? My strict diet sucked honestly, but it was the only thing that worked. Strict diet plan, fasting and exercising. I don't know if I would have gotten as great of the results if I didn't exercise. Sometimes I would do you tube exercise videos too, not all the time was gym time. If you have some dumbbells, that is great too, it helps speed up the weight loss. :)
User Avatar
February 18, 2020
I second NicuNurse's comment! My plastic surgeon didn't want me in any under no circumstances until 3 weeks, and even then he said I could never wear them If I didn't want to. My friend's plastic surgeon had her wear one from the second she got out till 4 weeks every day. And then there are those garnets in stages too, it truly varies by doctor. Whatever your doc recommends will be the way to go for sure, as they are comfortable with whatever method they recommend. :)
February 16, 2020
You look fantastic! I love your results. Your tummy looks so flat and your boobs are just the right size. Thanks for the heads up on skin care routine. I'm not ready for that yet but hopefully time and healing will continue to go fast. Thanks for the updates. You look beautiful!! .

What brand hot/cold massager are you using? I'm looking on amazon now at hot/cold facial massagers I'm wondering if that's what your using... thanks :):):)
User Avatar
February 17, 2020
It is the HoMedics one, here is the link:) I use only the flat hot (warm) plate. The flat plate against the skin is supposedly the best to break up the scars. This one is good I think, the plate gets warm but not uncofortable, the massager itself isnt overly loud. The only thing to be prepared for is that your hand might start to tingle from the massaging but I find moving it around helps with that so it doesn't start giving your hand tingling sensation. I just wipe the plate with a simple alcohol swabs tissue afterwards and it clean and ready to go for next time!:):):)
