Tummy Tuck, Liposuction with Diastasis Recti Repair

WORTH IT$12,200
I had a tummy tuck, liposuction to the flanks and a diastasis repair almost 4 weeks ago and the results are already amazing. Dr Nicholas Husni was my surgeon out of Cleveland, Ohio. I live an hour away and was able to recover at home. The staff and Dr Husni are professional and answer any question you have. I had the surgery at Lyndhurst Surgical Center and the medical team was wonderful. The surgery took about 3.5 hours and had no problems with recovering from the anesthesia. The pain from the liposuction was very painful and felt like someone had burned my skin with something brushed against the skin or I showered. This only lasted about 2 weeks. The pain from the diastasis recti was also very painful but only in certain spots, around the belly button and below the sternum. The tummy tuck incision was not painful at all, or at least I didn't notice it because of the other pain. I only needed Tylenol 3 for 2 days after surgery because I have a high pain tolerance. The most important advice I can give is move around by walking to get the circulation going and the swelling to go down. I am 3 and a half weeks out and 90% of my swelling is gone. I walked a little each day starting on day 2 and now can do gently yoga stretches in addition to my outdoor walks. The diastasis recti repair seems to have cured my incontinence and was not aware it would do that but I am so happy I don't have accidents any more when I sneeze or cough. I only wore the medical grade compression garment 8 days because it was so tight it was cutting into my skin and killing my back. I went to Target and bought a corset compression garment and love it. Try and at least wear your medical compression garment as long as possible then move on to something more comfortable. I needed a full 2 weeks off of work because it was very difficult to walk straight and sit or stand for very long. But each day gets noticeably better. I certainly would have never gone out of the country for this surgery because I wanted to to recover at home and saving a few bucks isn't worth the risk of traveling outside the United States in case something goes wrong. My tummy tuck scar looks amazing and is almost weird to describe a scar as amazing but I already had a C-sections scar from 3 C-sections and a tumor removal so I knew I would have a scar no matter what. I can tell the scar will heal beautifully and my stomach looks better than before I got pregnant. If I had one wish it would be to have had this done sooner. I paid $12,200 for the surgery and it was worth every penny. I highly recommend a consult with Dr Husni, a board certified plastic surgeon M.D. if you are considering any type of plastic surgery.
