I’m 6 weeks post op tomorrow. Everything has gone great and I’m healing well. I still have swelling at the end of the work days. Some days are worse than others. I’m so happy I did this and I’m thrilled with my results!!

I went back to work on Monday. Days were long and swelling was worse at the end of the day. It was also a struggle to stand up straight all day. My back bothered me the most. I made it through the week and worked about 50 hours. I still have quite a bit of swelling and hardness above my scar. The PA said that’s normal and I should massage the area. I got one drain out this week and I’ll probably have the other one for a week or so. The areas on my hip (especially the left one where the big blister was) still hurt. The skin is very sensitive and is the source of most of my pain. I still can’t fit into my old clothes which is very frustrating but I’ll get there eventually. I’m sleeping really well in bed flat in my back. My back is really sore in the morning because I can’t sleep on my sides yet. Here are some updates photos taken today.

Another week down! How’s it going? You’re looking great! I’m a side sleeper too and although I try a bit it still hurts. When I sleep on my back too long my arms fall asleep. Maybe the pillow under my knees is causing pressure somewhere? I don’t know. Anyway I have one side that’s not as smooth as the other too. It’s also still a bit bruised, so hopefully will go down and become as smooth as the other side.

I’m doing pretty good! Still swelling at the end of the work day. I’m feeling pretty good and sleeping well too. hopefully you’re back in you side by now!

Just saw this pop up. Yea I’m back on my side and it’s heavenly, although I still wake up a few times a night. I’m not complaining though! Swelling more at end of day too. And today I felt so good wasn’t paying attention and twisted too much getting out of car. I didn’t feel anything pop or rio but it’s definitely sore and feels like I pulled a muscle. Eek! I’ve been so good about being careful!
